Lovely book! I had a great time reading it!

I learned a lot about massage, the author proposed to discuss this subject and she didn’t disappoint! But this book is about her life, she shared personnel’s feelings! I laughed, got angry, mad, sad .. I also admire the way she faced the big changes in her life, always improving her profession. Moving on like a adult! 5 stars book!

Didn’t want it to end!

Hard to put down. Mandy takes you on an adventure around the world. Entertaining, funny and real, she does a great job at telling her story.

Her Hands Speak Volumes!!

Absolutely brilliant, poignant, funny and honest.
Mandy opened the world of a masseuse and invited me in.
And what a ride it was.
I read the book and then went back for the audible and I loved it even more! (Her British accent is a treat).
I swear Mandy Urena taught me so much about the the body….
I’m definitely in need of a body massage.. neck, back, shoulders you name it
I believe her when she says a massage can aid in the body ailments from depression to all sorts!

Not just for massage therapists, anyone will enjoy!

I just got back from Paris and finished the audio version of this book on the plane. I became a new LMT last year at age 48 so I thought it would be an informative read about this new life I’m in and I love supporting people trying new things & getting out of their comfort zone. So when I saw it mentioned in a LMT group, I downloaded it thinking even if it’s bad, it would only cost me an Audible credit to support someone in a goal.

I have to say- I really loved it! ❤️

She did a really great job telling the stories. It flowed well and kept my interest. I could relate to the LMT parts, but this is a book that anyone would enjoy reading, not just LMTs! Well done! The author is an adventurer, a traveler and a risk taker and that is something for anyone to be excited to read about!
Travel lovers will enjoy, too! It was interesting hearing about the various countries and experiences there.

She also did a really great job narrating the audio version. I listen to a lot of podcasts and audio books and had a podcast of my own for a couple years. Very professional sounding- the accent & tone was pleasing to the ear. Her emotion and inflection was really good! I am very impressed for a first time author. Fun read!

I loved this book! I wish she would write more. Her style of story telling invites you along on her journey as a massage therapist and oh what a journey it is!!

Really enjoyed it

I'm 12 years into my massage career, and I really enjoyed following along with Mandy's career. I look forward to sharing it with people in my life that have just no clue about the massage life! I've been telling my clients about it. More books like that are so needed. Hopefully it inspires a new genre!

I love the book I couldn't put it down. I think any student going through massage school should have this as part of their curriculum.

Had some great massages ... just not ths book

Look, Ms Urena is undoubtedly terrific in her chosen profession of massage therapy.

And it pains me (right behind the shoulder blades) to cast a pair of cold hands on her memoir.

But ...well ... I am going to anyway, I kept falling asleep. Usually the sign of a good massage, relaxed, confident. all the knots disappearing under capable kneadings, finding just the right spots to unkirk jammed muscles and get the healing course of blood to flow the pain away.

Which was the opposite of my experience with this audiobook.

I cannot even finish it.
