Great book, not great narrator

The good news is, the plot is fast moving yet continues to develop characters, with good twists and turns. The bad news is, the narrator does a poor job when using a modified "male character" voice. She makes the lead male sound a bit slow-witted because of the tone. She should not try to emulate a male voice, just speak in her own tone. Better yet, find a male narrator to read the male parts. That would make the book a five star!

Suspenseful Middle Book

This is a good continuation with strong suspense; some filler and repetition but otherwise interesting plot development. The narration is better than book one.

Love the story hated narration

I love the story and am devastated I must wait another year for book 3 however please use the original narrator from first book. Sorry Kate Rudd but your narration was no Bueno!
I struggled to listen to narrator until I could pushed through with out caring anymore because I was so engrossed in the story it didn't matter that the narrator couldn't act out the characters.

excellent storyline. Very suspenseful. The reader could have been a little more believable. overall quite good. where's volume 3? Don't leave us hanging
