Logan is aware of the statistics: the first forty-eight hours after a kidnapping are critical for finding the missing person. If they were kidnapped by a stranger, that timeframe is even shorter.

After a night of celebrating Logan's birthday, two of his friends are missing, and another is hospitalized in critical condition.
