Hayley Jepson started hairdressing at 17 and found her passion to be a colour technician (mainly because colour technicians are the funniest people you could ever meet) and has been continuing on for nearly three decades.

She has worked for Toni and Guy for 10 years, has taught in their training academies and on stage for them. Hayley worked at several branches in namely Manchester, Brighton, and Belgium. She even taught their NVQ in their training schools too!

Hayley has went through her own ups and downs so she decided to focus on herself which led her to work as a therapist! In her new psychotherapy role, she specialized in teenagers. Eventuall, she made a leap of faith and got back her passion for working at the salon full time. Now, she aims to go forward and arm hairdressers with the tools they need to avoid the stress, anxiety, and burnout that every hairdresser goes through! She aims to make a brighter and happier future with the help of her workshops and her story!

Melissa is a 16 year hair artist, salon owner, and Wyld Beauty Guide in Lake Tahoe, NV.

Wyld Beauty is the term she’s coined for her unique work in the world. To Melissa, our Wyld Beauty is our most pure state…radiance (spirit, light, essence) within a human body (which is…nature!). By helping women nurture both their inner, and outer realms of beauty, Melissa helps women remember and return to this pure state…coming home to themselves and their lives.

Through her many years in the beauty industry she has come to discover the powerful opportunity that it holds to honor the sacredness in us all, and affect people much deeper than just skin deep.

Charlie Butenschoen is a former personal trainer turned hairstylist that has a passion for helping other hairstylists avoid burnout and stay strong behind the chair.

Having experienced overuse injury herself, Charlie became obsessed with helping other stylists avoid pain (emotional and physical) by creating a program that helps hairstylists reclaim control of their life, their schedule, and their bodies. As a wife, a mother of two young boys, a suite owner, and full-time hairstylist Charlie knows how hard this can be. This is why Charlie is so passionate about creating a movement within the hair community to encourage and inspire hairstylists to put themselves first and engage in more self care.

As a 12-year licensed stylist I have experienced all different aspects of our industry. I began my career at The Aveda Institute-Columbus then worked in commission salons for the next 6 years. I then decided that I needed to grow on my own and became an independent studio salon owner. After 2 years of rapid growth I opened what is now AW Salon in North Canton, OH.

My desire to be a salon owner stems from my love of educating. I consider myself a forever student. So, sharing my knowledge and experience with other stylists comes very natural to me. In 2016 I became a Sunlights Balayage Artisan Educator and trained under owner and creator of Sunlights, Candy Shaw. To continue my educational journey, I was accepted as a member of Intercoiffure North America/Canada. Now I'm part of an elite group of the most successful salon owners to learn first hand from.

Through the years of educating I have come to learn that most of today's stylists experience the same struggles. Through my balayage education I help stylists build their confidence in their balayage skills, but also in charging their worth, working smarter not harder behind the chair, and how to create the career of their dreams.
