Pretty Solid Story

I am glad this story was paired with January LaVoy for narration. She does such a great job of bringing characters to life. Enjoyed this stand alone novel - mystery, romance with a bit of thriller and police procedural mixed in. I hope Roberts revisits this family. Would love to read more.

Well told story of love and a serial killer

WOW - after purchasing I thought...oh why did I get something that's 15 hours long? This will never hold my attention! I was totally wrong. When I realized a serial killer madman was involved I was hesitant there would be morbid scenes. Not so. Nora Roberts brought us into the head of this madman and into the hearts of the families involved. Great story well performed. The 15 hours flew by. Well worth my time.

Excellent story with a bit of suspense, laughter, realistic family dynamics and of course love.

Simply put, this is an outstanding novel! While I generally enjoy her books, I’d rate this one of Robert’s best in a long time.

Incredible. The story was amazing. Beautiful love story and suspense. Nora Roberts knows how to draw you into a story and takes you on an amazing journey.

Great book!

The first book I read/listen to by Nora Roberts was Year One, and I love that book series so much. I then tried a few more by her and never really enjoyed them as much, until I discovered the In Death series by J.D. Robb. I love the series so much - if you are into crime/mystery, you should give it a try! Well, because I’m all caught up with the series, I decided to give Nora Roberts another try, and the book Identity is AMAZING!! The reading flows so smoothly, and it made me feel like I was there with the characters. Great narrative. Even though the outcome is predictable, I got so involved with the characters that I couldn’t stop listening!! I highly recommend this book. January LaVoy was amazing in narrating this book.
