Publisher's Summary

On the day that shocks the world, one boy just wants to find his family. A powerful addition to the gripping I Survived series.

The only thing Lucas loves more than football is his Uncle Benny, his dad's best friend at the fire department where they both work. Benny taught Lucas everything about football. So when Lucas' parents decide the sport is too dangerous and he needs to quit, Lucas has to talk to his biggest fan.

So the next morning, Lucas takes the train to the city instead of the bus to school. It's a bright, beautiful day in New York. But just as Lucas arrives at his uncle's firehouse, everything changes - and nothing will ever be the same again.

Super great book

Action packed, but it brings out a melancholy and joyful feeling. This is not a good book for younger children, because it includes moments that are not very apropiot for kids 6-.

Very generalized re-telling of 9/11

Not much substance, but if you don't know much of 9/11, then it's a decent listen.

Sad story but informative.

Our family listened to this on a road trip. Sad story for the adults because we remember that day.

A little short

I finished this book on audio in a hour but the book took me two days to finish reading it plain. It was a good book, but still not long enough.
