Cornelia Arnolda Johanna "Corrie" ten Boom (April 15, 1892 - April 15, 1983) was a Dutch watchmaker who worked with her father Casper and other family members to help, reportedly, 800 Jews escape the Nazi Holocaust during World War II by hiding them in their home. Eventually, the family was caught; ten Boom was arrested, sent to Ravensbruck concentration camp, and released after 10 months due to a clerical error. Later in life, ten Boom wrote The Hiding Place, a biography that recounts the story of her family's efforts and how she was able to find hope while imprisoned.

Cornelia Arnolda Johanna "Corrie" ten Boom (April 15, 1892 - April 15, 1983) was a Dutch watchmaker who worked with her father Casper and other family members to help, reportedly, 800 Jews escape the Nazi Holocaust during World War II by hiding them in their home. Eventually, the family was caught; ten Boom was arrested, sent to Ravensbruck concentration camp, and released after 10 months due to a clerical error. Later in life, ten Boom wrote The Hiding Place, a biography that recounts the story of her family's efforts and how she was able to find hope while imprisoned.

I loved this book. I am an avid reader do WWII books, and am a Christian. The strength of Corrie and her sister amazed me. They could see Christ in everything that happened to them. They were able to show Christ to many during a harrowing time in concentration camps. This book has inspired me to rely on Christ more, & look for opportunities to show Christ's love to others.Wonderful book

What made the experience of listening to I Stand at the Door and Knock the most enjoyable?
