Story
Too many people stumble through life with an inaccurate view of who God is. They believe in His existence, but don't know how to relate to Him in a practical and meaningful way. As a result, they fail to achieve anything beyond a superficial relationship with their Creator, and live less-than-fulfilling lives. In Whatever, God, Fr. Anthony Messeh shares his unique story and the lessons he's learned that helped him go from a "don't get too close to God because He might ruin your life" Christian, to a fully devoted "I can't get enough of God in my life" believer.

Story
The God of the universe - the Creator of nitrogen and pine needles, galaxies and E-minor - loves us with a radical, unconditional, self-sacrificing love. And what is our typical response? We go to church, sing songs, and try not to cuss. Are you hungry for an authentic faith that addresses the problems of our world with tangible, even radical, solutions? God is calling you to a passionate love relationship with Himself. Because the answer to religious complacency isn’t working harder at a list of do's and don'ts - it's falling in love with God.

MAN UP! Becoming a Godly Man in an Ungodly World was written by pastor, author and speaker Jody Burkeen. His God given vision to challenge men to stop being spiritual sissies, MAN UP and accept God's challenge to be "the light of the world" inspired him to put this vision in an audiobook to share with others. Jody's self-described "Damascus Road Transformation" led him on a journey to search the scripture to find what he had been missing his whole life, Jesus Christ.

Story
Being a genuine disciple of Christ flows out of a relationship with him. It's about experiencing God's grace, not earning his love through performance. A real relationship with Jesus Christ will produce a follower whose life looks progressively more like his life. Romans 12 provides a relational profile of an authentic disciple: someone who is surrendered to God, separate from the world's values, sober in self-assessment, serving in love, and supernaturally responsive to evil with good.

Blending lively anecdotes, commentary, and teachings from the Bible, Charles Stanley introduces you to the Holy Spirit. He is not an oversized electrical current you just plug into when you need additional help, or a theological concept, but just as real and active as Christ.

He shows us how we can enjoy the same source of power as our Lord and the early church when we learn to "just ask" and depend on our heavenly Father as they did.

But Lee harbored a secret: He also knew that he was gay. In this groundbreaking book, Lee recalls the events - his coming out to his parents, his experiences with the "ex-gay" movement, and his in-depth study of the Bible - that led him, eventually, to self-acceptance. But more than just a memoir, Torn provides insightful, practical guidance for all committed Christians who wonder how to relate to gay friends or family members - or who struggle with their own sexuality.

Publisher's Summary
Whether you are just beginning your journey into the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church or have long been a member but are looking for answers to your questions about the church, I Need Answers is for you. Although the answers are gathered from church fathers and holy books, the style of writing provides clear answers to complicated questions.
The past few years the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church has seen her youth leaving in mass numbers. Why? Mainly because the youth are cannot get understandable answers to their questions. The church uses Amharic as its primary language and Ge’ez as the liturgical, preventing young people born in America from being able to understand the worship or teaching.
Deacon Dawit Muluneh, who has traveled around the United States teaching and preaching during the last decade, has gathered the most frequently asked questions and provided answers for them in a way that can be understood by a young adult. Each chapter focuses on a particular question, addressing central themes of Christianity and teaching about the uniqueness of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church. It also addresses issues specific to young adults like spiritual dating and depression and more controversial issues like homosexuality in the context of the church.
