I Bet You

I enjoyed this book because it showed the maturity of the character in what he had to do so the young woman could see what she really wanted .

Like coming home from a long hiatus..4.5 nostalgic stars!

It’s been a few years now since I’ve read Ilsa Madden-Mills book as I took off to dark and bully romances with a vengeance. Every now and then I like to switch it up and I remembered my old friend here!
As always, Ilsa penned a story of warmth, strength, LAUGHTER and love. Little angst which I appreciated but lots of slow burning feels.
Ryker thought he hated Penelope but that emotion was quickly challenged as he got to know her. Penelope refused to give her heart to a jock. She’d seen what had happened between her parents.
This followed them navigating their way through the bumps and scrapes of young love and left me with the warm and fuzzies! Oh and the stream was pretty darned good as well.
On the audible portion when I was listening I felt one of my all time favorites, Stella Bloom rocked her part for female and male but new to me narrator, Mason Lloyd I never managed to get into. He wasn’t bad he just sounded like he constantly had something in his mouth like a bag of rocks or large piece of hard candy? Idk, just didn’t love it but got used to it.
All in all, Ilsa never disappoints and this book only proves that statement more. I am always guaranteed a great story when I pick up a novel by this author!!

Holy Llama!!

If Beautiful Disaster & She’s All That had a baby you’ll get I Bet You!! This is by far one of my favorite books I’ve listened to this year.. I loved the narrator, the main character is relatable. Which I love. All the characters in general are relatable. I really enjoyed this book and was sad for it to end. I highly recommend if you’re into college romance. A really great book. ❤️📖

Couldn't put this down, listened to it while I did my chores. Lovely story featuring a lovable hero and heroine.
