The hero Quinn is a new alpha of another pack. He is scouring the country to find his lost pack mate in between council ordered Alpha Moon Dances. But when he finally finds his mate, the monsters he sought comes up from the shadows and takes him prisoner leaving Emery to face the beast head-on to save her pack, her new mate, and her future before it destroys everything in its path.

Voice and story

I will say this was my first shifter romance and was definitely pulled in a bit later. I have always wanted to read one with wolves and I’m glad I had the opportunity.

Firstly, the narrator’s voice. Astounding. Fits almost every character. Loved it. The voice for Quinn was chefs kiss. I love a nice deep voice. Narrator did a wonderful job capturing the essence of the main character and others. Starting out, I couldn’t really grasp at first, but after I kept listening it got better. Well done. Also the tone was so good and calming, I fell asleep (that’s a compliment).

Secondly, the story. Grounding and interesting. Like I said before, first shifter romance and I loved it. Definitely will read again. I love the back and forth of shifting. It wasn’t mostly human form, I think. And the way they communicated was exactly how I figured. Brilliantly written.

Overall… outstanding performance. Great listen. 9.5/10 can’t wait to read the second book!! Definitely looking forward to it.

Loving the Narrator's Voice

Still listening to this story, but wanted to say, the narrator's voice pulled me in. Pretty long book, so I'm expecting a lot of story to unfold around the main character. A good story to keep you entertained for those who also enjoy shifter stories
