The Class of 1969 was a small class, having graduated only 92 students. Their claim to fame was the fact that they were the last class to graduate from Laurel Valley High School. After the class of 1969 graduated, the Laurel Valley School District merged with the Ligonier Valley School District. All future graduating classes graduated from Ligonier Valley. The Laurel Valley School District was no more.
After the 50th reunion, the class soon had another distinguishing event that set them apart from any other graduating class when two members of the reunion committee disappeared without a trace. The police had spent months investigating the disappearances, but without any leads, the case quickly went cold.

Five years later, about six months before the class was preparing to hold their 55th class reunion, the new reunion committee president received a letter in the mail. The letter said that the last committee had made an inexcusable error that must be fixed before the next reunion. If the error was not fixed, the new committee members would suffer the same fate as the members of the 50th reunion committee.
The letter warned them that they were being watched and that they were not to give any of this information to the police or they would begin to disappear, now rather than later.
With each passing day, the threats became more terrifying. The reunion committee, with no idea what mistake had been made, desperately tried to figure out what to do before it was too late.
