Yousef, whose mother threatened to kill him for having a Bible, now smuggles Bibles the way his family once smuggled drugs.

After Parveen's employer beats her for attending church, Parveen begins to help other young Christian women who work in Muslim houses.

Abdulmasi kills hundreds of Christians in Northern Nigeria with no remorse - until the day he chooses a new life of faith and sacrifices everything for a God of love.

What can we learn from these faith-filled brothers and sisters around the world? How can we pray for them? And what do their remarkable stories teach us about a God whose light shines in a dark world?

I Am N reminds us that we are each "N", as radical Muslims in Iraq identify followers of Jesus the Nazarene. Wherever we live, we have camaraderie with those who are persecuted. So come meet their families. Listen to their stories. Deepen your faith in a God who gives us the courage to shine in a dark and hurting world.

This book brought so many emotions! A sense of horror at the atrocities committed combined with a stronger sense of awe at the outrageous faithfulness of God. Tears of pain at the thoughts of what these Christians went through and cheers of praise at the souls that were won. I was convicted about the times I've caught a quick attitude over some truly trivial event!! I hope this book gives courage to those facing persecution and that it causes immense gratitude in the hearts of those of us that have no personal clue of what it is to stand for Christ in the face of our own death!

Compelling and Convicting

The courage of these people who convert to Christianity is amazing. It helped me realize we are not called to comfortable-but to love and do as Christ calls us to do-even when its not easy! Thank you for this book!

a few year's ago I was in Lebanon and a 13 year old girl from Iraq gave me a picture the said in Arabic " if they only know what the letter N ment they would not kill us." I still have it today.

Not sure why the news is ignoring this, but glad somebody put a book together for modern day martyrs.

I am touched and changed forever by these stories. May my father in Heaven never let me forget them but to remember my brothers and sisters in Christ always in prayer and sacrifice. I stand with all of them.

Beautiful stories of strength through Jesus

All stories of martyrs and those that suffer for Jesus are worthy of honor and sincerely I think these folks did their best. Its a daunting subject and I think it deserved "voices" of more character and maybe a background of actual angry mob noises or speeding cars ,with actual sounds of gunfire rather than "pshew! , pshew!, pshew!"...

this has been one of the hardest books I've listened to this far, yet it is still one of the more inspiring groups of stories I've heard. I've been to a lot of these countries and I know that finding another Christian was few and far between. hearing the stories help me see why that was. it made me realize that in my own life I don't do as much as I should for my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. I want to make sure that I don't have to live as most of us do here in the first world. I hear these people struggle and yet the amount of joy that each one of them still had you realize that they are really living the life that we all should be. I highly recommend this for anyone who is really wondering why their life just feels flat and why they feel like they should be doing more. these stories help you realize how much more we can do.

eye-opening stories, very inspiring

Every American Christian should be (required) to understand how our brothers and sisters in closed countries live out their faith. We should be on our knees praying for each of them daily

A MUST Read!!!
