A beautiful story
A beautiful story of connecting to heritage. A worthy read. It's a blend of historical, fiction, and steamy romance, but tied into the theme of finding, connecting and accepting one's heritage and moving forward with a hopeful future.

Great character development within historical fiction
I would have given this a higher rating but for the truly unnecessary bedroom scenes. The story could stand on its own. I would be embarrassed to recommend this to my friends.

A presentation. Of marvelous appeal
I selected this book as “a let’s see what will happen. “ I didn’t believe I would like like it. Now I know I love it. It was told in such a believable way that it inspires me to look at my history even further than I did before. Magnificent artistry.

OK Overall
The story was longer than it needed to be and the explicit sex scenes were not relevant to the story (not needed). Other than that, enjoyable; it is good to know your history especially if you are able to obtain it.
