Publisher's summary

Ever see a Tasmanian Devil shapeshifter before? Well, you’re about to meet one. The name’s Darcia Deville.

We might have established harmony in Elapid City, but there’s a bunch of twisted vampire hunters eyeing us now. If they get their knives into our vampires, well, that can only end badly. So, now, we’re taking the fight to them.

Everything just had to go wrong, though.

My partner, Robert Smoke, a turned vampire, ended up captured by an insane scientist known as Doctor Astral. I need to save that brat in distress before he gets himself tortured to death. Not only that, but this woman is messing around with magic and science to an alarming extent. Wolfmen never existed before.

Apparently, they do now.

Delicious Dark Fantasy

Huntsmaster City is yet another surprisingly unique story that had me on the edge of my seat. Please be advised of the triggers, but if you can handle it, the book is well worth a read/listen and a review. The story is well written with a phenomenal cast of narrators with distinctive voices, which makes the story easy to follow. Don't let the sweet and charming parts of the story lure you into a false sense of security. This book gets to the gory nitty-gritty, and it leaves a mark.
There is a new threat in town that takes experimentation to a whole new dangerous level. Our rag-tag crew may not like or even trust one another, but they must band together to face this evil dark threat head on. I'm in awe of Des M. Astor's ability to intertwine stories perfectly into one very cohesive plot that grabs you and keeps you entertained and intrigued. The characters are well written, feisty, bold, powerful, and just as dangerous as ever. I am invested in the believable healthy relationships that the characters are building. The three couples are inherently different, but yet in a lot of ways, the same. The powerful dynamics between them are intense, dark, and sexy.
I highly recommend this book if you love intense dark fantasy books that are full of action, adventure, drama, magical creatures, humor, and, of course, steam. I received this book upon my request. I am voluntarily leaving this review of my honest and unbiased opinions here.

Excellent narrator work for Vampire Horror!

The narrators captured the characters perfectly in this, and the multiple perspectives are a great way to tell the entire story.

I am very proud of how this came out! Rein, Oriel, Cameron, and Erebus did such a great job with their voice acting.

The horror and gore were described by them very well with great emotional intensity when appropriate - yes, definitely mind the content warnings! But if you like a very well-narrated vampire horror with tons of action and well-written romantic subplots, I would check this out.
