Publisher's Summary

“Only love can satisfy a hungry heart.”

Claudia Montgomery is the best-selling author of the Nosy Parker mystery series. Her life was everything she had dreamed it would be, but it all came crashing to a halt when her parents died. As a result, she has an acute case of writer’s block. After several months, she goes to a Bed & Breakfast on the coast to relax and regenerate.

Kate is a a successful archaeologist. She loved traveling the world and studying matriarchal societies. However, her work and life were upended when her sister was arrested and sent to prison. Kate had to give up her job, go home to raise her sister’s 10-year-old twin girls, and help her aging mother run the family Bed & Breakfast.

They say that love happens when you’re least expecting it. Can Claudia and Kate satisfy their hungry hearts in each others’ arms?

Love the Twins

A mediocre and formulaic lesrom is rescued by wonderfully written scenes involving a couple of uber impressive ten year old twin girls. I'm on my fourth listen and it's still both humorous and heart warming; get it.

Twins Rules!

These twins ruled this book. Can you believe at their young age were ready to perform surgery and could remove a BB? Never underestimate the power, no matter the age. Loved this one. Keep this book series going.

another great book!!!

The kids and the center of this wonderful story. they are funny, charming, and make such an impact on how you see the plot going. I thought it was such a great way to intertwine all the other characters together.
For me the books ending was of course not long enough. one more follow up chapter would of been perfect. But thats just me..i always want more of the best...

Such a riot

I absolutely adored this book. The twins were a riot. They totally made this book for me. Layce Gardner does a great job as always with narrating. Bennet and Gardner books never fail to entertain me and give me a good laugh.

All but the ending

I liked this book but the ending was so abrupt! i would love to have an epilogue to wrap it up, give it a little more depth.

Punk to the rescue

Lovely romantic comedy about mystery writer Claudia and one time archaeologist Kate. Kate helps her Mum Maggie run a B&B on the coast, as well as bring up her sister's twin daughters, Charlie and Punk, more about them later. Claudia stays at the B&B for some R&R, having writers block after the death of her parents. The twins add greatly to the humour of this story, especially Punk who goes all out in the shock department as any good 10 year old tomboy would, in fact at times I was roaring out laughing. It was your typical girl meets girl, they get together, there is a big misunderstanding so girl leaves, until Punk comes to the rescue and they both get back together HEA.

It was a lovely warm story with plenty of humour, that Saxon Bennett and Layce Gardner are well known for, with some great characters. I felt at times that Layce got a little croaky in the narration, but as usual she had the characters off pat. It is a book I will be revisiting time and again.
