J’aime lire le Hunger Games en Français

I felt like I learned how to pronounce a lot more words listening to French than searching each word in the dictionary and trying to pronounce and translate it…I was lost through most of the book reading in French but I caught the gist of it from reading the chapters in English before…Excited to read more with French narration!

French and English Versions

The story and performance were both great. I really appreciated that this title and a few others are now being offered in both French and English. That way I can improve my comprehension skills by switching from one to another without carrying a translation dictionary.

poorly translated

I loved the narrator, but there were a few persistent grammar mistakes that made me suspect it went through Google Translate and/or didn't go through a copy editor...

??about audible not book

I had the English version in my library for probably over a year and have listened to it multiple times now it’s suddenly the French version and wants me to spend another credit on the English version. I don’t speak French and already spent a credit on the English version so yeah I’m pretty frustrated. The book is fantastic the English version anyway.

Engaging, fast paced, great narrator!

Would you listen to Hunger Games (Hunger Games 1) again? Why?

This was a wonderful book to listen to in French. It was an engaging story, tense, good plot, and if you could bypass the fact that everyone needed to knock each other off, it was an adventuresome read & a love story. I have tried to find Audible books in French, this was was especially good; good pace, interesting voice. I had a hard time stopping the story !

What about Kelly Marot’s performance did you like?

Kelly is a great narrator. Her voice adopts to the characters very well and she moves along quickly and narrates clearly.

Any additional comments?

Please add more audible books in French! Its a fantastic way to stay with the language.
