Story
William Kidd’s travels on stolen roads begin when he’s a boy on leave from a psychiatric hospital and survives a car accident that kills both his parents. Kidd knows the otherworldly thing crouched on his dying father’s chest is no hallucination. Nothing in his mental inventory of the planet’s natural creatures jibes with this pebble-skinned thing nearly as big as a man, with spiky shoulders and lizard-like snout. The beast claws his face, giving him an indelible totem-mark scar he still wears as a young man when he goes in search of the creatures he calls “trocs.”

A little too simplistic
A little too simplistic....which would ordinarily be fine! (after all this is only 30 mins long) but the book claimed to go into detail where other 'how to' guides didnt. I didn't really consider it detailed or intricate, but was more like the kind of advice one might get if they sat down with an english literature professor for lunch and asked them off-the-cuff for their process on book publishing. Like an off-the-top-of-ones-head answer. I enjoyed the short listen, but didn't really find it to be very helpful. The narration was pretty good though! He had a pleasant and clear voice and was easy to understand.
