Publisher's Summary

Stranded on the exceptionally dangerous, and possibly haunted, Beach of the Broken Heart, Hiccup must face UG the Uglithug and complete the impossible task - or die trying. Along the way, he'll have to battle Berserks, dodge Scarers, and save Fishlegs from being fed to the Beast, all while being hunted down by an old enemy with a dark secret about the mysterious Lost Throne. With Toothless by his side, and time to stage his rescue running out, what's a Hero to do?

Brilliant!

This is my favorite of any audio book series ever. David Tennant and Cressida Cowell make an absolutely magical recipe for storytelling!! I'll never be too old to enjoy this. I'd be hard pressed to pick a favorite in this series, but this one might be it.

Love this series.

A great series, I recommend this to all who love children books. Book eight is as strong as the first books and I love so many characters in this series. Camicazi is such a crack up and I love her. She makes grown men cry. Such a fun adventure. Narrator is awesome as always.
