informative

It's a very well written book about the topic of overthinking. and offers quite practical solutions for this issue. It talkks about what's causing overthinking, so it goes back to the origin of the problem. also it talks about living in the present. and build resilience. audiobook is also a great format to read this book in my opinion. i listened to it during my daily commute, and i quite enjoyed this book for the week. i sometimes have the overthinking problem., and i realized it causes some more problems for me. i hope that those practical solutions in the book would help me gradually fix it.

Emotional Acceptance

As someone whose tendency is to do some major overthinking this book gave me some great new approaches to handle and become more aware. The only not favorite part about the book was the narration in the self-compassion chapter dropped the level of this book. Its content though is solid.

Wonderful Resource!

Wow, this book is so helpful for someone like me who overthinks everything all the time. I really appreciated the author's specific examples and ideas, such as mindfulness, CBT, and problem-solving. The bullet points are a really helpful element, too!! I find myself going back to these sections to help me find something that I feel good about implementing.

Could be helpful

The author has a lot to share. He has taken a lot of other material and brought it all into one place, which is really helpful. The narrator has a great voice, but there are chapters that need a lot of help. Some chapters are great, while others have a lot of throat-clearing and repeats. I wish I could get hold of the author and ask him to redo those bad chapters then I could leave a much better review. There is a lot of good stuff here, but I couldn't get past all that throat-clearing.
