Publisher's Summary

Do you have trouble setting and accomplishing your goals?

Do you procrastinate or put things off till the last moment?

Did you know that 80% of New Year's Resolutions have failed by February?

The problem is this: Most people were never taught how to set and pursue goals properly.

In this audiobook, we'll be introducing you to three concepts from Japan:

  • Hansei - the art of honest self-reflection.
  • Ikigai - how to find your "true calling" in life.
  • Kaizen - goal achievement through incremental progress.

Each one of these techniques is a powerful goal-setting tool. But when combined together, they can multiply your personal productivity by a factor of 10 - making your most ambitious dreams seem achievable!

This audiobook will teach you how to discover your "true calling" and accomplish your life goals!

You will learn:

  • Why conventional goal-setting methodologies cause so many people and projects to fail.
  • The clever insight that will immediately allow you to stop procrastinating and start getting to work.
  • The Japanese method to find your life's purpose and ignite the flames of internal motivation within you - thus turning your body into a "personal productivity powerhouse".
  • The one-minute principle that makes the laborious chore of "habit-forming" much, much easier.
  • How to avoid allowing excuses or inconsequential interruptions from disturbing your productivity.
  • And how the practice of "incremental progress" can be utilized to overcome your brain's natural tendency to reject ambitious tasks.

It doesn't matter if you're a student, a busy mom, or an entrepreneur. All of these techniques still apply. The Kaizen methodology can be utilized for getting better grades, doing your homework, building relationships, losing weight, enhancing your career aspirations, starting a new tech company, or for any endeavor that calls upon you to set goals.

Are you ready to learn more?

Then make the decision to stop wasting time, and start accomplishing your goals today!

PLEASE NOTE: When you purchase this title, the accompanying PDF will be available in your Audible Library along with the audio.

Interesting perspective to conscious goal setting!

Excellent review of the concepts of the East to help with self reflection, leading to owning the mistakes, overcoming self doubts, planning for a successful goal attainment by Ikigai through continuous improvement/Kaizen. Ikigai seems to be similar to finding your why, but the author has further broken down finding Ikigai into a set of practical questions, what skill do you love, do you think you can get better at the skill, can you earn money using this skill and can this skill help the community. Interesting perspective to conscious goal setting!

Great Book!

I know I need help making changes and I love the “make little changes that add up to big ones.” I had forgotten that I was listening to this and a friend asked yesterday if I had heard about Kaizen. “Yes. I think I have the book.” I opened Audible today and it was already on chapter 2. 🤦‍♀️ started over and will listen again to make sure I REALLY got it all.

great

I would have liked more in depth stuff on the other philosophies besides Kaizen......Kaizen was great....but more on the other 3....seems like ikigai and kaizen were most dominant....and other 2 got sped thru...but maybe there wasn't much to say. just found all 4 and the implementation of all 4 in ones life fascinating. the conclusion was really good.

Outstanding book.

This is a wonderful book! It’s understandable and illuminating. The author clearly explains Kaizen and how to apply it towards goals and productivity. I learned so much from the book that I bought the Audible and the paperback.
Recommended it for my best friend and highly recommended for others

Calm and refreshing

I work for a manufacturing firm attempting to implement the Kaizen business model and was confused why it was not working, but now I do. The Japanese implement this model not in the attempt to increase revenue In a business, but to increase on ones way of living in a community. The business focuses on the physical environment but not on the relationship between people (talked about in the last chapter) which I can now appreciate and understand, but this unfortunately will never be implement or understood inside large corporations in today’s capitalist world.

Practical and insightful

I read this book as a follow on from another book about Ikigai. I am new to the concept and discovered it whilst looking for guidance about how to bring more peace, satisfaction and success to my life without travelling at frantic pace and feeling like success in one area of life required disappointment or compromise in others. This book has made me think differently and I’m already feeling the benefit. I’ll be looking for more books from this author to help me continue this practice. Many thanks and best wishes to the author. Karen

Fun writing and inspirational snippets

A nice, punchy guide to the system. Invigorating and useful tips. If you’ve read other productivity books, you will see many familiar references and quotes. Yet there is value added in the synthesis of the system.

Great content, narrator’s tone could be improved

I liked the content, using practical examples. The integration of the 4 concepts into a workable framework is interesting for personal growth. I will aim to apply it.

My only disappointment is the narrator’s voice and tone which I found a bit monotonous and could be more engaging.
