Chance encounter with a HEA

There’s so much to love about this book. It starts with an instant attraction chance encounter and a company in jeopardy. Without sharing real names they never thought they’d see each other again, but fate had other plans. Elise is struggling majorly with company problems and doesn’t thinks she has any more energy to give. Kieran is a patient man.
These two are the perfect couple, balancing each other out in every way. This book truly has a little bit of everything from joy, to betrayal and struggles, to overcoming obstacles and having a happy ending! I listened to this on audio after reading it a couple years ago. I absolutely LOVED the narrators and their ability to show every single emotion throughout the story. I love Evans ability to give us such a unique story each and every time while still giving all the love, struggles, suspense, and steam every single time.

I am amazed every time I listen to an audiobook by A.K. Evans. She gets it right ever. single. time.

Kieran and Elise had a chance encounter that turned into HEA. Not without the drama and suspense we've come to love from A.K. Evans though!

Kieran and Elise had an instant connection that went far beyond the physical. When they part ways after their plane ride, neither of them think they will see the other again. Another chance encounter turns into Kieran wanting more immediately, and Elise running scared because of what's she's going through.

Elise is at the height of her career, wildly successful, when someone is out to make her crash and burn. Kieran stays by her side through thick and thin, but the betrayals she suffers over and over have her running from the man she should be running to.

Finally realizing the epic mistake she made, Elise sets out to get her man and the racetrack scene couldn't have been more perfect. I absolutely love these two together. She needed someone that was going to be strong for her and have her back unconditionally, and Keran was just the man for the job.

Book 4 of Hearts and Horsepower, How to Rebuild finally gives us Kieran. We knew Kieran would have an incredible story and Elise is his perfect match.

Connor Crais and Ava Erickson are perfect for this book! Connor feels like a Kieran and when he speaks his part, his voice really fits! Ava, she can’t go wrong in any character that she narrates! These two combined is why I love this book as much as I do. I always read these but the narrators that do these stories are the reason I listen to the same books I have read. They always add visuals!

A chance meeting on the flight home after spending time with family, Kieran meets Elyse. They didn’t share names or any information about each other on the flight home but Kieran felt sparks from the beginning. Not knowing anything about each other, Elyse didn’t think they would ever see each other again so she opened up and told him everything about her.

Kieran is so taken by her that he wants to help her in any way he can but Elyse doesn’t trust easily after being hurt so much in the past. Can she finally open up and trust Kieran to not only help her but to love her?

How to Rebuild is definitely my favorite out of this series. While I love Logan, Knox, and Ryker and their stories, Kieran has always been my favorite!
