Quick, easy guide for handling muddy waters

I really enjoyed this book. It gave insights to the other side of the healing process for my husband. I wish I would have read it before the affair coming to light because I made some of the mistakes she mentions NOT doing. Some great tips and reminders of things not to do and to do in the Rollercoaster of hopeful reconciliation to any marriage struggling with infidelity.

Very insightful and helpful material

Very insightful and helpful material. I'm not entirely sure I agree with the sentiment that we alone are responsible for our own happiness regardless of our partners but everything else was spot on. Audio was good but the editing needs work. There were several times when you could hear the reader click the stop button and then reread a section then stop again and reread once more. It wasn't enough to detract from the deeply helpful information on this delicate subject.

Easy to listen

Currently my wife and I live separated, we have decided for the separation to understand at what point our marriage is. I am the betrayed and I am looking for everything to try to recover the relationship, for me, for her and for my children. The path, I know, will be full of obstacles, but I want to try. I'm attending a psychologist and I'm listening several books on the subject. Among those listen this I found it written well and full of interesting contents. The writer describes the causes of betrayals, and gives advice to understand what to do next.

This is a reliable audible for us

It is a neutral audiobook, and makes no distinction of sex in betrayal. Both women and men can listen it, and indeed I advise the couple to listen both. The reasons that lead to treason are many, but listening this manuscript many aspects are well described and important and valuable tips are given. I recommend the purchase!

Important contents

This is a audiobook that everyone should listen, even those who have not suffered betrayal. In my opinion it helps the relationship and highlights aspects that we do not think of and that gives us advice that is as precious as diamonds, where the behaviors that are suspicious in a person who betrays are highlighted.

Does not do what it says on the tin

I'm over an hour into this audiobook and I have learned lots about how to detect infidelity and how easy it is to cheat due to modern technology but I've had no guidance on how to actually help my spouse heal from the affair. The book seems to address the betrayed rather than the person who should be doing the work to help them heal. It seems to put the emphasis on the healing on the betrayed. There are also audio glitches around chapter 5 where strange clicking noises are heard and the narration jumps about.

I bought this for my husband after he had a long term affair. Not only did it help him tremendously to understand what I was going through and how to rebuild the trust in our marriage but it also helped me feel validated for what I was feeling. The book is an easy read short in length which is just what you need when you are recovering from the trauma of an affair. I am choosing to stay with my husband and honestly, this book is making all the difference in the world.

The topic speaks for itself

I read this book as the hurt spouse to see if these are things I'd like to hear from my spouse and it was very good

advice. I needed to know if I had unreasonable expectations from him. I recommend this for anyone dealing with this

topic to get it sooner than later. Maybe even before the bomb drops to avoid as much damage as possible from the get

go. If you did wrong this is a good start to try and pick up the broken pieces.
