Beautiful little book
Great book to listen to and read again and again. Outstanding little work by St Alphonsus. The reader does a good job too.
Some books are great but less digestible as audioboojs; this one is outstanding to read and to listen to. i recommend both but either one will do.
I enjoy/benefit by listening to it again and again to try and put in to practice the practical advice on how to save my soul, how to live and die as a saint, and how to love God!

the most powerful literature I've ever read for the saint
This reading from St Liguori is very clear and powerful. it's mostly a summation of passages from the New testament but they're curated so well and so clearly that it comes off as extraordinarily singular and unique and powerful. I'd give this and recommend this book to anyone who is interested in believing and is looking for guidance or feels lost. the book is a warm hug at many times and I loved it very much.
