This book is just so well done. It’s not just smut, but a well thought out story with compelling characters.

such an interesting mix of characters. glad to have followed their journey. hoping to see what happens next.

i laughed i cried i lived

wow a hard listen at times because of the subject matter but alexis hall does it with deftness . i am constantly in wonder at his ability to set a scene and portray a mood. joel leslie is genius.

Really good sequel

I must say I really liked this one, the first book was also really good but now we finaly get some answers! Think what I liked most with this one is Adens and Elories (probably super wrong spelling on her name) adventures as they grow closer as friends. Arden and Caspian finaly talk some stuff thrue but in the end its Caspians dame stubborness not to tell Arden the truth that keeps making it so hard for them to really be together and it kinda felt like a repet of event of the first book at some places, but the story as a whole is good so I didnt really mind. The first book didnt really have much kink so here its finaly getting a little more spicey! There are some elements of BDSM in this book; maindly spanking and light restrains, but its obvious that it will get more into it as the series progress. I read someones review saying the first book was like Fifty Shades of whatever color, but its not even close to that, THIS IS BETTER, stop comparing every singel BDSM themed book to it already, its not like those books are the first getting into kinks!
So with that said, get the first book and then get this one. Joel Leslie nailed this one and only made it all better!

Oh my god! I need more!

This was just amazing! Alexis is freaking amazing! I need the next one right now! This book had everything, even better than the first one of this series. It hurt me, made sad, mad, happy, laugh and fall in love with a tortured man and a wonderful butterfly 🖤

Best series ever

Arden and Caspian are such hot messes but you can’t help but love them. I wish it was dual POV cause I wish I knew what was going on in Caspian’s mind.

I Love Arden!

I listened to the first book in this series on Audible and I was blown away, so I KNEW this would be a great listen as well. I was right. I've got huge shadows under my eyes because I stayed up too freaking late listening to it because I HAD TO KNOW what happened next. I can't wait until the next book in the series comes out!

Now that I've stopped crying...

I can't believe I have to wait until 2019 to read/listen to the final book! There are still so many questions I have. What roll will Nik play in the next book. Will we learn more about Nathaniel? Ugh! I just don't even know how I want this story to end.

One thing is certain - I'll be waiting for the audio version (or at least I hope I can wait that long) because Joel Leslie was magic! I've listen to him before, and although I liked his reading style, for me this was his absolute best. He brought the story to life for me. I laughed out loud and cried real tears at the end. Not once was I even the slightest bit bored. I loved every word.

The story was so well written and Mr. Leslie was the perfect narrator. I couldn't imagine it being someone else. 5 stars love love love!!
