Builds up the tension
This is a great penultimate book, David Tennant is absolutely brilliant, he gives the characters such distinct personalities. The story is tension laden but touching and funny. This is one of the deeper books in the series but is still quite light on the whole.
Pure quality

A great holiday listen for all the family
What made the experience of listening to How to Betray a Dragon's Hero the most enjoyable?
We have followed the adventures of Hiccup on audible from the first story to this the penultimate in the series. David Tennant's reading is a full scale production & helps you to picture all the different characters.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Toothless is the best for all of us though Hiccup and Kamikaze run a close second.
What about David Tennant’s performance did you like?
The whole production is wonderful. David Tennant is excellent and you can easily identify all the different characters
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
We especially love listening to them on long car journeys as they help make the journey bearable especially when stuck in traffic.
Any additional comments?
Sad that the series is nearly finished but also can't wait till the next title is released with David Tennant reading it of course.

Amazing, as usual!
Finished book 11 and loved it, just like all the previous ones. The storyline is great but what makes these books so amazing is David Tennant's narration. I still can't believe that he does all the voices!!
Sad that we're now about to start the last book. My daughter already said we'll just have to start with the first one again.
