A voice that fits the narrative

listened to it twice. will probably listen again. learned a lot about being a gentleman in specific detail. the narrator spoke with a gentleman quality giving the text higher depth. the author wrote with percision and care to the reader.

Very generic

Everything that the author writes is true and I couldn't agree more with him. It is just that it would be very helpful only to someone who grew up in the forest. All his points are valid. It is just all common sense.

Not worth it to spend your time and money to listen to someone telling you that you should dress properly, respect women, be generous etc. If you are interested in being a gentleman (which is probably the reason you are buying this book) you already know these things.

Great modern take

I grew up with grandfather who showed me how to be a gentleman my whole life. This gave me the principles of how to do it myself.

The book for the man who wants to better himself

I find this book to be perfect for the man who wants to better himself.
I really appreciate the opportunity for such great life advice, and the narrator does a great job.
I only wish it had better audio quality.

The narrator’s voice is nauseating

I would NOT buy this because I can’t listen to the narrator beyond 30 seconds! Argh

Good content but tough to get through

Unfortunately, the narration of this book is really tough to get through. The narrator is robotic and the inflection as well as the pauses make it a difficult to follow.

The content is very good however and the author has some very good suggestions on how to be a gentleman.
