What is it you expect?

I like the candidness and honesty of this book. Amber Rose is unapologetic, insightful, funny and real. I didn't know much about her before I read the book. It was passed on to me by my husband. I'm glad I heard the audio in her own voice which I think adds to the books sincerity and interest. I wish I had read this when I was a teenager! That's who i would really recommend this book to. Teenagers, young single women, young career driven women and men. She has a practical and logical thought process that I think would appeal to male reader/listener. Her book is a thorough approach to how women can reach their maximum potential in life, no apologies, with compassion and honesty. I think I connected to it be cause it paints a real picture of what it is typically like for a woman to come of age in the society we live in. My background was much more privileged than hers was, but I dealt with similar situations and mentalities as I was growing up. That's why I wish I had read this book when I was young. I like to think it would have been an insightful read when there were few people in my life who understood how steer me clear of unnecessary pain and heartache that stemmed from not knowing how to be a bad bitch; or that being a bad bitch was even a viable consideration. Now as a grown woman I'm delighted to listen to this powerful lady and to feel that her position in this world is a boost for womankind. Yeah, I really do. She's a great female human-being role model, full of integrity.

How old was she when she wrote this? I felt like I was listening to a 19 year old. I couldn't get myself to listen more then the first hour. I want my money back.

Good book if you're single and young

Not what I expected. This book was boring. I love amber rose but this book just didn't do it for me. Her life lessons sounds like excuses that she makes up for her own behavior.

Best Audiobook I've heard in a while!

Outstanding...I bought this because I watched Amber on the "It's Not You It's Men" show. Even though I felt the hosts of that show were joked, Amber Rose was strong and held down her stance against two men who not only had the opposite mindset that she has, but didn't seem to be open to what she had to say. Amber won that argument hands down, and I was intrigued to hear what else she has to say:) I love you Amber Rose! Thank you for sharing your words of tried and trueness....I have learned so much;)

Phenonmenal

This book is honestly the best book I've ever read and i don't like to read usually at all. But honestly i loved every bit of this book ! All the forms of advice really help Great job Amber I'm a proud RoseBud ❤️

Big Sister Information

I must be honest when I first bought the book I was hesitant. Not because I don’t like Amber but I wasn’t what you would call a fan of hers. I respected her process and after reading this book I can respect her way more. Very honest, very sincere, very informational. She’s like the big sister you always needed or was wanted to show you how to be the best version of yourself. A real bad bitch! Thank you Amber for this book. I will continue to reread whenever I feel the need to reinvent myself or boost my self-esteem.

Inpiring, very inspiring

As a big fan of Amber Rose, I already love her strong independence and her sexy attitude. When I was in high school, I used to wanna be like her and ever since I started reading this book, I feel so empowered and inspired to be the baddest b!tch I can be. That book doesn't only talk about how to love yourself and to be happy but it teaches you how to take risks and how to make yourself happy when no one else can. I highly suggest reading it if you haven't!

I didn't live the message that it presented and it was hard to listen to the sound of the Author's voice.

It made me cry a bit because I really recognize my own struggles and life in her story. And it made me laugh how positive she's going through this life, I really loved it. She gives a lot of women a good feeling about themselves. It's a good book if you struggle with your self-esteem.

Short Bio/ self help

The book starts off rather dull with a lot of common sense advice. I wish she included more about her life, stories about her family and friends, experiences. I admire her honesty on some subjects and outlook on life.

Perfect for 18 -25 year olds

This book was ok and I really enjoyed it at the beginning. It became apparent towards the middle that this book is aimed at a young girls becoming women. I'm 36 and I found it very patronising but I think that's because of my age and the stage that my life is in.
My younger self would have definitely enjoyed this book. It is written in a "big sister" kind of way.
I give it 2 stars because I'm not the target audience .
If I was 10 years younger I would give it 4 stars
