Amazing Story!

This is a fantastically written story in all regards. The title is kind of funny but don't let it turn you away from this amazing series! Danny Rogan brings his brand of storytelling to this romantic tale about a fugitive alien shapeshifter who longs to live out her fairytale romance, and experience love as only a human can. Alison is a deep and interesting character who brings with her a whole cosmos of world-building potential as she explains the world of extraterrestrials to her chosen mate.

For his part, our human main character, Carter, is also a dynamic and likeable character. I loved seeing their relationship grow over the course of the series. Alison is cute and loveable, Carter is noble and charming, and together they're just an awesome team. There's an interesting concept of a human and an alien falling in love, which is explored in detail as we learn about Alison and her species. In the end it just works and it feels so good to read. It melts me to think about it.

Big props to Summer Moon for her narration here. She's got such a great voice for this genre and she brings a fun energy to the story.

PS. I just picked up this story while waiting for Queen's Kestrel 6 to come out on Audible. Definitely worth the detour!
