An Astonishing and Important Read
Beautifully read and dutifully written with accuracy and beauty. Here we experience as though firsthand, the romance and love for the ages. They art of poetry and the pain of humanity combine to make a work that could quite well become a classic. Based on the true story of Elizabeth and then Robert Barrett Browning’s love, we see the emergence and awakening of a woman bound for the grave; tormented by a possessive and restrictive father, and destined for freedom.
