Publisher's Summary

The edge-of-your-seat thriller from the number one best seller.

A deadly terror ploy. A race against the clock. Will evil prevail?

Following a chance encounter with a terrified young woman in the streets of Paris, former SAS soldier Ben Hope finds himself hurled into a violent new mission involving murder, international terrorism and stolen historic artefacts. A mission made even more perilous by the reappearance of an old enemy from Ben’s military past. A man he knew and fought years ago. A man he thought was dead.

Teaming up with the enigmatic ex-Delta Force warrior Tyler Roth, Ben travels from the seedy underworld of Paris to the islands of the Caribbean in his quest to piece together the puzzle.

As the death toll quickly mounts, he unmasks a vicious terror plot that could bring about the slaughter of millions of innocent people. Mass destruction seems just a hair’s breadth away...and only Ben Hope can prevent the unthinkable.

Another great Ben Hope adventure

A gripping listen, as always! Colin Mace is THE narrator for Ben Hope stories, he really brings them to life for me.
As always you know what you're getting with a Ben Hope book, an exciting storyline a high, bad guy, body count and a thorough education in firearms. Always a winner with me.

Ben hope

Ben hope doing what he does best, but the story I felt wasn't as good as some of his previous tales. Still it's Ben doing what he does best, killing bad guys.

This dude never falters

Detail and accuracy Rich as always, incessant pace, quality, appropriately exaggerated characters, a storyline that would keep you from your day job to get to the next chapter. Narration by Mace was as always- stellar.

Excellent, back in form.

I would say this was one of his best. Good storey line, since twists, well narrated as always by Colin Mace. Keep up the good work Scott.

Same

Same old same old, no surprises just simple entertainment to pass a few hours. Colin Mace, excellent as ever. Really, really wish Scott Mariani would stop the “he just didn’t know it yet”, I find it annoying.

Regurgitated, lame, purile

If Scott Mariani wrote this excuse for a story something has gone wrong! Purile, regurgitated storyline, cliches every few sentences, insulting. Barely recognisable as a Ben Hope book.
I have read every Ben Hope book and this is certainly not in the same class. Lazy greed once again exploiting loyal fans!

not up to usual standards.

I loved all of the Ben hope stories.
I found this one was ok but seemed to lack imagination and by far are the weakest of all of the books.
I really hope that the next and the series will be a big improvement and a step forward again.
