Publisher's Summary

Maya has never had much to complain about. Sure, her parents are absent a lot, having important jobs in the government, but at the end of the day, she has all the material possessions a girl could want. Not to mention a great best friend and secure spot in the popular group at her school.

Yet she can never shake the feeling of displacement. Constantly searching for something that’s missing from her life.

Turns out Maya is part of something much bigger than her human existence, and after a mysterious stranger saves her from an ambush at a party, he brings her into his world.

And turns her world completely upside down.

Voice Narration

Great story! Different narrator used from books 1&2. This narrator had to soft tone for Masculine personalities.

Every book it is just as good as the first!

I loved the story and the reader did good she just wasn't very good at the male voices so those were kind of hard to listen too.

Loved it

Chase is a very interesting character and from what the author describes he is hot!! Love love the characters and hope to read more about them and I’m so glad chase has finally bonded. Definitely recommend this book and the audiobook.

Pretty good

My big issue is the narrator change. So frustrating, but eventually I got use to it. Now, it’s waiting for the final book to become available on audible.

New reader

I get why the author may have wanted to change the reader but honestly I much perfected the reader of the first 2 books. This new reader just didn’t have as diverse of voices which allowed a lot of the characters to all sound the same, especially the men. She did a good job, you could understand her but I’d really like the first reader to come back; she really brought the characters to life with their own voiced personalities. The story was just as amazing as all of the books so far. I love this series and I’ll be reading it again and again.

Fantastic

The story is really cool and better than the previous book. A short but well structured story with a creative storyline. It's a teens-oriented book, but it offers entertaining for the aldultos who like fanciful stories.

love this series!!!

the storyline is unique and so are the characters. definitely reading the final book!!! jaymin Eve is one of my new favorite authors. the only negative is that they didn't keep the same narrator from the other two books. this one did a great job as well though so it isn't too big a deal.

Great Story... Hard to listen to

Great Storyline, AWESOME characters! A must read/listen if you love the paranormal/fantasy romance and adventure!

Truly love this series, BUT really wish the author would have stuck with Vanessa Moyen as the narrator! It was really hard to listen to at times because this narrator simply lacked depth and a good spectrum of tones for the characters. The book would have been far more enjoyable with different narration, but I kept listening on and I'm looking forward to the different narration for the last book in House of Royale.

AMAZING THE BEST IN THE SERIES

This is the best over all in the series the only complaint I have is the changing of the narrator I understand that each book is a different character and therefore have different voices but when one narrator has the audience used to the support characters sounding one way then all the characters from the last 2 books and even the main characters from the last 2 books suddenly sounding different it gets confusing but the story from book one through book 4 was great the only thing that would have made it better is if all the girls would have developed some powers or abilities that would have helped them fight or if they would have been able to use the animals that joined them Emma a dragon, Callie her fire, Maya her owl - bear, and Avalon the dolphins ( Aquagirl lol )

Disappointing

Whiny voiced female characters and annoying weak sounding male characters made this hard to listen to. The author was trying to be politically correct and add (irrelevant to the story) moral messages for the younger adult audience, making this book boring and drawn out......
