Publisher's summary

Sometimes, life is completely unfair.

Spoiled teenager Jenny Halpen's parents were against her going on a cruise, but her doting uncle didn't see it that way. He thought it a fine graduation gift for his favorite (and only) niece.

Unfortunately, before Jenny has a chance to enjoy the voyage, the Cassandra collides with a meteor shower, and her escape pod is separated from the others.

Landing on an uninhabited world might not be so bad if Jenny's pod-mates were human, but they're not. They're poodles...all three of them...and not just your garden-variety poodles, either. They're the telepathic royal family of Canaris, and they're of the opinion that Jenny is now their servant, existing only to protect and serve them.

Robinson Crusoe had it easy!

Cute

I enjoyed this cute and quirky story about talking dogs, a resilient teenager and survival trapped on a planet of talking dog tribes. Narrator Amanda Rae Rosado did a great job with the voices.

Girl Meets Dogs

Obviously meant for young teenagers, but really liked the book. loved how Jenny grew and realized she knew more than she thought. Would not mind a sequel to this.

Friendship and Resilience

Hot Diggity Spacedogs is a cute family story that proves we all need each other in some way or another. My little family enjoyed the different species of mindspeaking dogs. Jenny, before her trip that started her transition into being more adult, was a little brat. When her pod that contained her, Princess Amber, Chrissy, and Conan the Lesser landed on a planet, Jenny had to step up and lead. Jenny never thought she would ever be able to handle that much responsibility, but she surprised herself.
I loved watching the characters mature and develop as the story went on. The introduction of other species plus little science lessons here and there were remarkable. My kids learned things without it being shoved down their throats. I found the storyline to be entertaining, funny, and thought-provoking. I highly recommend this book if you have children.
I received this book for free upon my request. I am voluntarily leaving my honest, unbiased review of my own free will.

Hot Diggity Spacedogs review

Hot Diggity Spacedogs: A Teen's Guide to Being Spacewrecked was an alright story. It had a likable main character and it would be interesting to find out what happens to them and the space dogs in future installments.

Not for me, but a perfect family friendly book!

Well I won't say that I liked Hot Diggity Spacedogs, but it's cute. And also for me it felt like the author was little too heavy handed and moralistic for my jaded worldview...
I also believe that a much, much younger audience might've it a lot, because why not doggos... (it's really geared for the middle reader a 8 to 10 year old), even though the protagonist is 15...
The problems I had with the book was 1, racially tension was nullified too easily, and 2, the climate change this author wrote about was all bunk. Why not do it right?
So yeah grab this family friendly book today because Amanda Rae Rosado has a story to relay to you.
