A MODERN classic

Though Mr. Gutman occasionally indulges in a left-wing political opinion or two, which I disagree with and which in my opinion has no place in a book about baseball, all the rest of this book is wonderful reading for children of all ages. If you're looking for informative and historically accurate and very entertaining reading about baseball, no matter what age you are, I highly recommend this book.

Fantastic time travel story

Told from the perspective of a 12-year old boy who loves baseball. Very entertaining.

Interesting and entertaining

This is an interesting/ entertaining learning about a baseball players. If you are a baseball fan/ or want to be interested in baseball this is the series.

Im a third grader and it was fun, surprising and Great for moderate reading. I would recommend to anyone.

Absolutely Delightful

This was a wonderful story, making me go back and to learn more about Honus Wagner. I will be looking for additional stories written by Johnny Heller. Very entertaining!

This is a really good book, very good quality and very interesting/entertaining. If you are a baseball fan or a card collector I would 100% recommend.

For Young Baseball Fans - FANTASTIC!

My 9 year old son loved this book. He couldn't stop listening to it. It is filled with factual baseball information and the time travel aspect is a great hook. It's a "Field of Dreams" series for kids!
