Humanity is coming home.
Weeks after landing on Earth, the Hundred have managed to create a sense of order amidst their wild, chaotic surroundings. But their delicate balance comes crashing down with the arrival of new dropships from space.
These new arrivals are the lucky ones-back on the Colony, the oxygen is almost gone-but after making it safely to Earth, GLASS's luck seems to be running out. CLARKE leads a rescue party to the crash site, ready to treat the wounded, but she can't stop thinking about her parents who may still be alive. Meanwhile, WELLS struggles to maintain his authority despite the presence of the Vice Chancellor and his armed guards, and BELLAMY must decide whether to face or flee the crimes he thought he'd left behind.
It's time for the Hundred to come together and fight for the freedom they've found on Earth, or risk losing everything--and everyone--they love.

If you read these books before you watch the series, you will love this entire series. But reading the books after you’ve watched the series, they are a tiny bit disappointing. The captivating drama of the series is intense. I couldn’t stop watching it! The books just don’t have all the captivation. And, the books and series don’t follow one another. The differences are what makes the series far superior to the books. I can’t explain more without spoiling the story. So if your interested in the series-read first! Then watch! You’ll adore both that way.

Great books, but...

nice story but not the best. a fraction of time spent on recap and a speedy dramatize battle near the end. not much character development in any of the main characters either.

4 star all the way

The Narrator's are great story tellers and wishing Jasper or Lexa Oh Oh Oh or Murphy <--- and "Wells Jaha" is and Glass are from begining Hollow Characters same as Luke. If you get right to it, It's a stripped bare bones outline for the Cw TV show season Minus the Grounders. CW took a cookie Cutter all be it the first two books were Tuning up for greatness, which the show protrys in their own way Awesomeness with out it becoming redundant. I still will read the last Book "4" in this series hoping it can redeem or rescue or atleast get back on plot point and and End with a Good ending.

It's All WE can do as a Kass morgan & The 100: TV show and books. Still I Say it's a must buy and Read, It just bogged out in some places.
