Whenever I lose myself in the cooperate world this book always get me in check.

For Young Mothers Wondering WTH?

A few nights ago I was crying thinking I have given this (meaning my life as a DAHM, wife and “homemaker”) EVERYTHING I have but my life is still a mess. WTH??

After listening to and taking a lot of notes, I’ve realized that I was working so HARD on all the wrong things.

What a blessing this book has been! I cannot wait to get started ❤️❤️❤️

I’ve been a homemaker for 4 years and Mrs. Shields’ wisdom, processes and guidelines are pure gold. Her grounding in Christ and frequent references to scripture was inspiring. I will be listening to her book on repeat for many years to come.

Hmmmmm.... will this be well received?

I believe MOST problems are solved IN THE HOME and this book speak directly to that!! LOVE IT!

I really and truly enjoyed this book. The way the world is today, I fear MANY will be turned off by heavy influences of the writer. I adored those parts.

Also, although very truthful, the description of some of the "examples" in the book, so not seem very Christian-like. I KNOW they are fact, it just struck me. Overall the book is FANTASTIC!

Outdated but still helpful

a little outdated but overall some very good tips and tricks, as well as mindset motivation to make your home into an organized, serene environment.

Dated

I made it half way through this book before it became too much. The author’s voice is soft, and clearly reading from her manuscript, making it easier for me to space out. A lot of her advice is dated as well. By chapter 8 I had only retained one piece of advice.

Old time Christian housewife

She pushes a very slanted view of this profession. It's old antiquated ideas... Women work at home and men bring home the bacon. Shame on me for buying

It is not correct to spank children!

Spanking children have been illegal since 1992 in Scandinavia and it might be the reason why danes are rated as the happiest country year after year. The bible teaches kindness, not violence.

This book should be illegal to sell when it recommends violence against children!

You will lose the right of your children in Scandinavia and go to jail for spanking children, adults, animals.

This women is not Godly she has a sick mindset.

And as a certified nutritionist the food part is fake facts about health and nutrition.

Cringeworthy from the very start

As a homemaker and mom of two, I’m all about finding valuable resources. The author of this book does not appear to find women capable in the most basic of ways, references problematic and biased studies that have seemingly not been disproven in modern society, and is truly difficult to sympathize with. Would not recommend.
