Balanced and Profitable

I thank God for Skip Heitig's balanced teaching on the person of the Holy Spirit, and how He operates in the lives of people both before and after the become believers in Jesus Christ. Skip also gives balanced teachings on the gifts of the Holy Spirit in this audiobook, as well as warnings against false teachings concerning these things. He is engaging and funny and also serious and sincere as he teaches these things using many, many scriptures to undergird what he teaches. I highly recommend this audiobook to those who want to know more about these things.

Skip Heitzig is by far the most phenomenal pastor, teacher, and speaker i have come across in 30 years and I've listened to many other pastors in my lifetime

What made the experience of listening to Holy Spirit the most enjoyable?

This book is well organized and easy to follow. Very good, creditable and bible based.

I really enjoyed learning about the person of The Holy Spirit who is God.

I was very inspired and provoked to be more aware of the Spirit of God who lives within me

Not for Pentecostals

I just wanted to know more about the Holy Spirit. Instead, I got a lesson on what he thinks that other Christians not as enlightened as himself believe. I really don't care about the flood of error out there. I sure don't need hours on end to hear what he thinks about other Christians; who, if I understand the Bible correctly, he is supposed to love.

If you are looking for a brother bashing this is your book. In all fairness after a few hours of this, I could not listen to any more. I kept hoping for scripture and there were some great insights and scriptures. But it was too little too late.

I hope that it is more scripture based instead of his personal beliefs based, as the book goes on. I just couldn't take it anymore.
