What do legends Groucho Marx, Bette Davis, W. C. Fields, and Alfred Hitchcock have in common? They are just four of the luminaries mentioned in Hollywood Anecdotes, the definitive oral history of film's Golden Era. Educational and entertaining, here are authentic and apocryphal anecdotes about the American movie industry and various aspects of American filmmaking. This collection gathers many of the most memorable stories ever recorded about the stars, directors, and producers who put the tinsel in Tinseltown. Performed with effervescent charm and wit by one of America's most beloved actresses, Debbie Reynolds, Hollywood Anecdotes brings back all your favorite memories of the silver screen's heyday.

An older audiobook, back from the cassette days and when several of the subjects of the stories were still alive. The story tries to cram in a bit too much information in the relatively short time. Some 'anecdotes' were interesting though and Debbie Reynolds did seem to try hard and does a decent job as the narrator.
I'd recommend if on sale or for a somewhat short listen of 'old' Hollywood, its legends and folklore.
