Fun storyline, lovable characters, can’t go wrong!

I loved this audiobook. The narrator did a great job! The dynamic between Emily and Dev is so fun and easy. They understand each other, relate, have spicy chemistry. It’s so easy to fall in love with them as a couple and root for them to work out. Dev is so kind and reassuring, he’s very swoon-worthy!

Their families were endearing and this books gave great incite into their culture.

A medical issue is brought up in this book that I feel is a really important topic to discuss honestly and openly. The author did a great job of navigating through those issues.

When Love Happens in Spite of Obstacles

Enduring and heartfelt, yet quick listen that show cases the best form of love. I enjoyed the connection and relationship between the FMC and MMC, Emily and Dev. Both characters are kind natured and giving which makes them lovable despite their mishaps and unwillingness to admit their true feeling to one another throughout most of the story. The story line was simple with plot points that typically follow the featured tropes (fake marriage, billionaire lover, and miscommunication). This is not spicy, but does feature love scenes typical in romance novels. The enjoyed the audio narration. The story was duel pov read by a single narrator. The narration was entertaining, well paced, and well read. Overall, I really liked this story.

a cute fake relationship romance

I received an advanced review copy in exchange for this review. This is a cute story, with some heartbreaking elements and an unexpected ending. I liked that the characters were imperfect but the MMC loved so fiercely.

Personally, I struggled with the single narrator in a Dual POV book. in places it muddied the story. All in all I enjoyed this listen.

Get ready for a Hawaiian wild rollercoaster ride of emotions!

This book had all the components of a fun vacation book! The suspense, laughter, sadness, and the true emotions that all are present when you fall in love. I found myself crying, laughing hysterically, and also yelling at the characters. This was a easy to read book that made you feel as if you were on the ride with Emily, Dev, and his family. I was provided the audiobook by the author and I am leaving my review voluntarily.

Fun and Quick Read(Listen)

I received a free audiobook ARC in exchange for an honest review.

After finishing Hitched in Hawaii, I can say that I feel satisfied. The ending is all that I hoped for throughout my entire time reading. Shah’s latest work is a mixture of fun, relaxation, conflict, love, and adventure, and I’m here for it. From hiking adventures in Hawaii to shopping adventures in LA, there is something fun for everyone. I don’t feel as though this was a “spicy” novel as it is marketed as. Although there are a few spicy scenes, I feel that they were randomly thrown in. The dialogue between characters was a bit quirky at times and hard to follow, but I got the overall message. It was super enjoyable and had great potential; some parts of the plot just fell flat for me. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys romcoms. The audiobook narrator did a great job narrating and showing emotion throughout the entire book. I am interested to see what Shah comes up with next.
