Magic at Heaven's Ballroom

The fifth volume of Heaven's Ballroom, His Second Chance Angel, continues with omegas entertaining alphas with a new burlesque theme.

Falling in love seems to be fated at Heaven's Ballroom. It almost seems like magic. And, Alpha Alton is caught in its tide, "...I did know that Omega, as fate would have it. This story is a wonderful addition to the series, and comes loaded with secondary characters (including a darling little five year old princess) that make you fall in love.

Stephan Van Doren is quickly becoming one of my favorite narrators. His voice is clear and smooth, easy to listen to during the narratives. The character voices are spot on, with excellent pitches and accents. He brings this book to joyous life.

Second chance romance

I love a good second chance romance. This story didn't disappoint me at all! It has all the heartbreak needed to create a good plot with it's happy ending!
I really enjoyed it and the narrator was able to transport me into the book and really made me share the characters feelings.

as good as the ebook

The story is always 4 or 5 stars, because if I wouldn't like the story as ebook, I wouldn't listen to the audiobook.

The performance from the narrator is also very important for me. I can't listen to a lot, because my English as a non-native-speaker isn't so perfect to follow a whole story over hours, when the narrator speaks too fast or too sloppy. Normally I have to SEE the person, who is talking to me in English. It took me a little bit, to come into the narrator, but at the end, it worked. I only have to take a few breaks between. I'm just not yet finish with the book, but I listen enough to give a review.

A Sweet Second Chance Love Story

His Second Chance Angel is the fifth book in the Heaven's Ballroom series by Aiden Bates. This is a fun and sweet story... I liked the characters - they were funny, sweet, sexy... and their story was a lot of fun to read, with just a taste of danger/drama. Good addition to the series, cant wait for next book.

Stephen Van Doren is the narrator of the story and does a good job bringing the story to listeners. Smooth voice that's nice to listen to.

Great addition to this series!

I have really enjoyed all the books in this series, and this is no exception. The narrator is easy to listen to, and his characters' voices are distinct. I would definitely recommend.

Love after loss

I love this serise and this book did not disappoint. Another of Heaven's Ballroom's strong sassy omegas finds their love.
Narrator Stephen Van Doren continues to do fabulous job with this series. I love listening to his voice.

Spellbinding

Aiden Bates has a spellbinding way of writing. The way he takes everyday stuff and makes a Great book is so Special. A True Love story.
Stephen VanDoren has a Great voice so easy to fall into the story without wondering who speaking is a talent worth listening to.
Don't pass on this audio book or you are missing a Great One...

Oh how I wish their had been a Heaven's Ballroom!

I would have spent many weekends in this Ballroom had I had something like this in my neighborhood! What a wonderful continuation to a really enjoyable series. Both in "E" book form and in Audible form! I did find that the time lines changed several times in the book between Eliot & Alton's meetings. But I still over all really enjoyed Book 5. This entire series is in my read again slot. The plot, the flow and the characters are very well developed and completely believable. I have never read a book by this Author, that I did not completely enjoy. Mr. Van Doren's narration adds so much more to the over all enjoyment of this book for this listener any way. Hopefully, you will enjoy this series as much as I have. An Avid reader in Rock Tavern, NY.

Another Five Star Special

Aiden Bates does it again by writing a story that is so good you never want it to end. You can’t help but invest your feelings in this story about a widower realizing he can have more than one true love and finding it with someone he’s met before. Eliot is such a sweet character that you can’t wait for him to find the love of his life. This story had just the right amount of drama to make getting to the HEA worth it.
