Publisher's summary

Omega Avery Stephens refuses to be the compliant, submissive mate he was raised to be. He’s tired of being told he’s less than and will have to wait for an alpha to come and ‘save’ him from the virtual prison that is the Omega Quadrant.

After his fathers die in a tragic accident, he must stand up and be responsible for his younger omega brothers. Knowing their savings will only last so long, he looks to the future. Avery will need an income and not the pittance an omega can make. He shears his long locks, purchases illegal scent blockers, and misrepresents himself into college under the pseudonym Abraham Norcross, a beta.

Once there, Avery does everything in his power to prove his kind can be more than ‘a womb with legs’, but when he comes across his alpha, he struggles not to be the stereotypical weak and needy omega. Instinct causes him to think too much about dropping to his knees and begging the man to fill him with a child.

Can he find a path somewhere between heaven and hell—and still hold on to his self-respect?

_____
This is chonky 140,000 word gay non-shifter omegaverse book filled with a lot of love, some pain, a few tears (but not as many as the first book, I hope!), and plenty of spicy times between a loving alpha and his omega.

Love this series and the audio did not disappoint! The mentions of Jamie made my heart clench but it was so healing

Well done !!! Avery and Wilder 👏🏾👏🏾🥰

In the sequel, "His Reluctant Omega," the spotlight shifts to Wilder, Jamie's Alpha brother and Rohan's steadfast friend. Initially resistant to the idea of Rohan caring for another Omega, Wilder's journey unfolds as he grapples with his emotions and eventually supports the evolving bond between Rohan and Grey.

Wilder, a seasoned Alpha, faces his own struggles as he senses an inexplicable connection with Beta Abraham Norcross. In a world where Alpha-Beta unions are unconventional, their magnetic pull defies societal norms. As Wilder and Abraham navigate their forbidden connection, a pivotal moment in a conference room changes the trajectory of their lives.

This installment masterfully delves into real-life issues, seamlessly weaving themes of equal rights, sexism, and discrimination into the fabric of the Omega verse. Author Kelex's storytelling prowess shines through, expertly narrated by the talented Michael Dean.

"Fateful Bonds "promises more enthralling developments as budding romances between other characters beckon, making this series a must-read for fans of Omega verse and Mpreg narratives. If your literary cravings lean towards a perfect blend of heart-wrenching emotion and societal relevance, this series is a resounding ten-star recommendation.

Compelling

Keep the tissues handy, because this is an emotional rollercoaster. The main issue of this story always gives me a sick feeling in my gut-
Omega rights. But really, it is a lack of rights. The story made me feel such emotion for the Omega fate and changing dynamics of that world. I don't think I've ever started crying over a character by chapter 1, but this one did it. It was the first of many tears- sad and happy tears. I was invested in their journey. Wilder became such a great champion for his mate and his rights. The epilogue was a mind blower!!!! It left me with a full heart. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest opinion. The narrator did an absolutely fantastic job bringing the characters and story to life. I highly recommend this book.

His Reluctant Omega

This story is full of emotions, there are many ups and downs in Wilder and Avery’s journey. The two are made for each other and no matter how hard they fight their attraction it is not going away. Avery is determined to show the world that omegas are not just for making babies. They are more than capable to live and work just like Alphas and betas but the laws say otherwise. When Avery and Wilder are no longer able to deny what they feel everything in their world turns upside down.
I enjoyed being alongside these two as they make their way through everything. Avery is a smart omega who longs for more and Wilder is a good Alpha. The two make a good pair but their world is pulling them apart. This book focuses a lot on the politics and laws of their world. There is still romance but the light is more on the turmoil and the bond that is formed between the two because of it. It was nice to see just how much the two are willing to fight for what is right and to support each other. Not only did the main characters shine but the supporting ones made themselves known and I am eager to return to this world for their stories. Narrator Michael Dean does a good job of bringing this world and its characters to life. I was quickly pulled in and lost in their story.
