Publisher's Summary

Someone in Independence is sending off for mail-order brides and they've struck again! This time Julian Smythe is the culprit's latest victim, and naturally, he hasn't a clue. Throw in the antics of Mercy, Martha, Maude, and their newest partner in crime, Mahulda, and you've got enough chaos to drive any mail-order bride crazy. And that's exactly what the four matrons do! Ellie Sampson came to Independence to get married, but no sooner does she get off the stage, than she's snatched up by the four and thrown into the position of a maid in the Vander household! Shocked to discover her husband-to-be had no idea she was coming, she's even more shocked to discover she's falling in love with not only him, but the town as well. But a secret she holds could bring everything tumbling down, and any chance at happiness would be gone in an instant. What should Ellie do?

The Journey Continues

Simply wonderful! I am totally addicted to this series with the amazing Kit Morgan's writing and the fabulous voice of Michael Rahhal! It truly does not get much better than this, plus the town of Independence that makes me long to be a part of every time we visit there! This time the matchmaker has struck again and for Julian and Ellie. Ellie answered an ad to become the bride of Julian. But of course when she got off the stage, the three M's got ahold of her with the help of Mahulda and gives her a job as a maid with Betsy for the Vander's! Julian has no idea she is there for him, but it seems they are drawn to each other. Another mad cap humorous and heartwarming story that I adored. Thank you Kit Morgan and Michael for bringing me hours of Joy.

A heartwarming mail order bride romance!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

His Mail-Order Bride Valentine continues the journey of many characters that we have come to know in the Holiday Mail Order Bride series. The characters are entertaining and well developed. The story line is fresh and mingles characters from previous books so you feel like the story continues where it left off. The plot moves along at a good pace. This is a sweet and delightful story that will captivate you and keep your attention from the beginning to the end.

What does Michael Rahhal bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Michael Rahhal did a fantastic job on the narration. He really brought the characters to life. He did a great job with the different accents, especially the Irish accent. Sometimes his impersonations made me giggle. I had to laugh every single time he said “uhh huh”. You can hear the passion in his performance with the concise and clear speech while adding depth to the story.

Any additional comments?

Kit Morgan is one of my favorite authors. I know that when I pick up one of her books that I won’t be disappointed. Even though this is part of a series, each book can be read as a stand-alone. I have read/listened to each book back to back. If you are looking for a good mail order bride series to start, then I recommend to start with the Holiday Mail Order Bride series. I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a heartwarming mail order bride romance.
