Fantastic WWII Romance

I thoroughly enjoyed this story! It's very well written and has a level of excitement to it that made it a really quick read. It's a clean book free of language and sex scenes. There is some violence which is to be expected due to the time period but it is not overdone or too graphic.. The narration is top notch, I loved all the accents and the acting was wonderfully done. My only complaint is that I felt the story ended a bit abruptly and could have continued farther... maybe I am just hoping there is going to be a book two.

A Heart Warming Story of Love During WWII in France

An American soldier Harry as a civil officer helps build relations with French meets Christine, a french woman of British and French descent working for the resistance. Harry doesn’t know she works for the resistance and falls in love despite possible challenges to their relationship.
I heart warming story of loyalty, love and bravery in France during WWII..who to trust, who not to trust...does honor still exist...loss of families..loved ones.
The story is beautifully told and enhanced by an incredible narrator...male and female voices from little child to adult..French accents, American and British. What a fantastic job.
A short story that brings in romance, danger and a sense of what WWII cost so many people.
