A year of messaging on the Cuffd app has led me to understand one thing: Troy is the one meaningful relationship I’ve ever had. Two things are stopping it from being more: I’m an adult film star, and there’s also an ocean between us. To claim my geek boy, I’m going to have to pull out all the stops and lay my heart on the line as I’ve never done before.

Adrian is my best friend. We live together, hang out, and he’s the best cake taste tester I could want. Hugs are the norm, along with cuddles while watching horror films. I need someone to protect me during the scary bits, so why not Adrian? He’s almost a foot taller than me, so he makes a good armchair too. Life is exactly the way I like it until Adrian’s sister drops a bombshell that leaves me questioning everything I think I know about myself and my straight best friend. Can one kiss change everything? I’m about to find out.

Story
I left my family and tiny Texas hometown 15 years ago to escape small-town gossips and to give my mom and sister the chance at a better life. But when a phone call from an attorney back home informs me that my sister passed away, leaving me custody of her newborn baby, I'm shocked out of the steady life I've built for myself running a tattoo shop in San Francisco. The thing is: I don't do babies. And I don't do small towns. Or commitment. And I especially don't do family.

Publisher's summary
Dear Santa,
I’m going to be upfront and tell you that I feel silly doing this, but here goes nothing!
I’ve realized that I lean more toward being a Daddy than being strict. I’m kind and caring, and I want someone to spoil. I’ll always put my boy’s needs before my own. I’ll take care of him in every way he needs me to. I’ll discover what he wants, how to make him smile, laugh, and moan.
As for what I’m looking for in a boy… I’d like someone who wants to feel special, and who enjoys being held by his Daddy. If I had to choose between a naughty or nice boy, I think I’d choose nice. I can put a naughty boy through boot camp, but I’d much rather praise a good boy.
What I really want, Santa, is someone to cherish this Christmas. I hope that’s not too much to ask for.
Sincerely,
ExCombatDaddy
His Boy to Cherish is an M/M winter romance with a disabled first-time Daddy, a little who loves stuffies, a 12-year age-gap, nappies, a loud-mouth best friend, some familiar faces, hurt/comfort, and a lot of feels. Trigger warning for characters with PTSD.
His Boy to Cherish is part of the Naughty or Nice Season Two multi-author series. Each book can be listened to as a stand-alone, but there are so many Daddies looking for some holiday magic to bring them their perfect boys, why not grab them all?

Loved hearing this in the proper accent.
What an amazingly sweet book. Low-angst, hurt/comfort, Daddy/boy goodness. You can’t help but want to love Jayden, his life was rough and lonely. Knowing that, it makes the reader appreciate Ben all the more for how wonderful he is. You really root for him and Jayden, they are perfect for each other. I’m not crazy about age-play, but it doesn’t bother me enough not to read books with that have it. This was my first book that contains ABDL though, also not crazy about it. But, I didn’t feel that they took away from this story for me personally so I didn’t let it take away from my rating. The story is fantastic and sweet and engaging.
I forgot how much I loved this story already but to hear Piers Ryman perform it, I fell in love with it even more. He brings the characters to life perfectly, and his crying voice…omggggg. Definitely teared up with him a time or two. And it was awesome hearing it read in the proper accent. I always struggle trying to read accents in my head, and especially British because there is a lot of them. So that was so fun and enhanced the experience immensely. Hahaha nougat is pronounced“new-guy” 😂 amazing.

Another win for ryman and Davison
A sweet daddy/boy story with more depth than expected. It's a light entertaining read with enough character development to keep you interested, and the audio is on point. Ryman’s depiction of Ben and Jayden is adorable.
I very rarely would pick a story with an ex-military character because often those stories are often darker, more angsty, and that particular brand of angst isn't usually my thing; however, Colette manages to capture trauma (loss of limb) and PTSD without it feeling overly angsty and uses it to move the character dynamics forward. Jayden is sweet with a bit more of a backbone at times than expected - just enough to keep it interesting. If you're looking for a sweet daddy/little Christmas story including traditional and chosen family, low angst, good writing, great and the feels, this one is for you. Honestly, this sweet story was just the thing I didn’t know I needed right now.

Such a lovely story.
The audiobook for this book was absolutely brilliant. It really did a good job at bringing the story to life and it was everything I wanted it to be. I feel like this audiobook was just so engaging and a lot of fun to read. It complements the book super well and it enhances the reading experience of the book, which was already pretty much perfect to me. I have always loved reading this book and somehow the audiobook makes it even nicer a reading experience for me
----
When I say I want a sweet and fluffy book that provides me with a boatload of comfort and still has some conflict and some very emotional moments even if it’s a lower angst book, I mean this book, this book is everything I have ever wanted in a book.
Brief summary
There is an event on the Cuffd website where daddies can write letters saying what they want in a boy and boys can reply to them if they are interested. Ben who is a daddy writes a letter. Jayden, a boy, replies to him and they fall in love.
First, I loved the two main characters in this book so much. Ben was one of my favourite daddy that I have ever read about in a book. He was exactly the kind of daddy I want in a book. He wasn’t perfect, he had flaws and a believable personality that made him really endearing and he was also super sweet, he was super caring, the way he always took care of Jayden and his needs made me so happy, he always praised his boy, he was super attentive and receptive to his boy’s needs and wants, but he was also firm enough to make sure that he helped his boy and guided him towards things that are good for him. He was an all-around lovely daddy and I absolutely adored his character. And I absolutely loved Jayden too. He was so precious and sweet. He was such a super lovely character to read about and I really loved him.
Second, I don’t think I have enough words in my vocabulary to say how much I loved the relationship between the two main characters. It was so romantic and definitely made my heart melt, at many occasions. I just loved how these two always listened to each other and did things to make the other feel better. I loved how they always reassured the other when it was needed. I loved how they took care of each other at any time. I loved how they showed how much they love each through their every move, it was so lovely to see. Jayden had bad relationships that made him feel bad about himself before and I loved how Ben always took the time to show and tell Jayden how lovely and worthy he is. Everything about the relationship these two had was super lovely and everything I want to read about in a book.
Side note, I really appreciated every side character in the book and I thought that they really helped make the book lively and gave it such a good friendly vibe, the cast of characters in this book was really superb to me. Special mention to Jude, whom I really hope gets his book soon because I just love him so much.
Third, I really enjoyed the vibe of this book. I’m a big fan of hurt/comfort in books and the way it was done in this book was very delightful. This book talks a lot about heavier topics like the effects of being a soldier and the loss of an arm while being on duty, PTSD and the effects of it, assault, a parent who’s in a coma, abandonment issues and insecurities, but it was more focused on the comfort part and how people can comfort each other when living with those things. The way everything was shown really worked for me. I really enjoyed the vibe of this book, it was a nice mix of super sweet scenes and more angst-filled scenes and it really worked for me.
Special mention to how the book presented those topics too. Ben was in the military and he lost an arm during duty and I really liked how the book showed what that did to him and how his life was because of that event, that really worked for me and I loved reading about it. And also I really appreciated how PTSD was shown in this book, I really appreciated how it was represented and it felt realistic to me, I don’t have PTSD, but it felt very close to what I know about it and it really worked for me. I liked how the book didn’t shy away from showing the effects of PTSD and what it did to the characters who have it.
Fourth, this book was on the longer side and it really worked for me. I loved how we got to see everything build up over time and the relationship development was wonderful, I loved how their relationship developed and grew over the book, it was lovely to read about. Also, I really enjoyed how they met on the dating app, then met up really early in the book and had a date and then kept going on dates and learnt to get to know each other, that format really worked for me, I liked how it was straight forward but also worked very well at developing their relationship and their connection.
Fifth, I absolutely loved everything about how the kink was done in this book. Also, Jayden has a praise kink and I just loved how it was done, Ben kept praising him and telling him how lovely he is and it was just the sweetest thing. The age play was so damn sweet and I really enjoyed how it was portrayed in the book, it was all about comfort and how they can make each other feel good, loved and cared for and it really worked for me. I loved how they both were so into cuddles and how they always cuddled, it was so damn sweet. I loved Jayden’s love for his stuffed animals and how he has a lot of them, I also have tons of stuffed animals that I all love and cherish so I love seeing main characters who collect stuffed animals and who play with them, it’s just so sweet to me.
Special mention to the sex scenes in this book because god damn, those were scorching hot.
Also, special mention to Ben, who didn’t know if he was into age play before they got together but who listened to Jayden tell him what he loves and who never judged him for what he likes. I loved how Ben listened to what Jayden enjoyed and then took time to think and talk to other people who are into age play to understand it better and then he experimented with Jayden to see if he is into the same things that Jayden is, it was so sweet and it really worked for me.
Colette Davison is an author that I have only read two books of, including this one, but don’t be surprised when I go back and read her entire backlist soon, because so far her books are exactly what I love in books and I’m very much loving them.
I received an ARC of this book, and this is my honest review.

So many feels
Colette does it again. Jayden has been abandoned and rejected and tries to mold himself into something Daddies want so they will keep him, but they never do. Christmas season brings us the familiar Cuff'd app that magically brings Daddies and boys together. Jayden finds wounded veteran Ben and they both manage to heal each other in the sweetest ways. I loved their tentative overtures as they had to overcome their insecurities and learn to trust. There are so many feels from these two which is heightened by the narration of Piers Ryman. This was such an enjoyable listen that I highly recommend.

His Perfect Daddy
Being a boy is what makes Jayden feel good. But, he has moulded himself to be what the Daddies want and not what he needs.
When he meets ex military and new Daddy Ben, Jayden is in for a surprise as Ben lets him be himself thus allowing to flourish into the boy he was always meant to be.
A lovely story if seeing two characters who were perfect for each other come together.
Jayden with his insecurities and Ben with his own issues after being in the military are the perfect compliment in this Daddy/boy book.
We have sweet Daddy/boy scenes, scorching passion and emotions that will tug at you with some great supporting characters woven into the story too.
The narration does take some getting used to but once you get accustomed to the narrators tone, the story flows well. The emotions were executed perfectly and the characters were relatable to. A lovely, sweet listen overall.

Jayden and Ben
His Boy to Cherish is part of the multi-author Naughty or Nice Season Two series. This is a beautifully written emotional, sweet, twelve year age gap, lots of stuffies, hurt/comfort story. Have tissues handy, if you're like me you might need them. Jayden had about given up on finding a Daddy that would stick around and care for him the way he needed. Ben had never been a Daddy before, but he knew he leaned that way more than just being a Dom. After writing a letter to Santa on the Cuffd dating app Ben waited to see who would respond. I loved Jayden and Ben together from the very beginning. It took a lot for Jayden to trust Ben but after he was able to let go and be himself it was beautiful to watch. I loved that Ben's friend Jude was there to help him in the beginning and want to help Ben become a good Daddy. Jude is such a great character. I loved that Jayden still spent time with Michelle and Myles, even after he left home, as well has his Mum, even though it's difficult.
It was so good to see Jayden again, and Troy and Apollo from Geeking Out. I'm glad Jayden got his own story. He deserved to find a good Daddy to treat him right, someone to pay attention to him, and take care of him. If you enjoy sweet Daddy/boy stories you don't want to miss this one.
Narrator Piers Ryman does an amazing job in bringing these characters to life.

Sweet & Snuggly Daddy/Little Love Story
I already loved this story as an e-book (original review below), so I jumped at revisiting it in audio. Narrator Piers Ryman has a smooth delivery that makes for easy listening. He offers up a delightful variety of British accents here, though my ears had some trouble distinguishing the voices of Jayden and his best friend Troy.
This Daddy/little love story is quite precious, just like Jayden himself. It's got loads of hurt/comfort and sweet, snuggly and steamy moments, a dash of Christmassy/wintery goodness, and is largely angst-free.
The story opens with stuffie-collecting boy Jayden (24) and military veteran Ben (36) experiencing the holidays as lonely singles when friends prompt them to give the Cuffd dating app's "Letters to Santa" feature a go. Soon, the boy who doesn't believe himself worthy of a Daddy, and the Dom who's questioning if he's more Daddy than Dom, connect, and Cuffd couldn't have paired up a sweeter couple.
Ben gets a crash course in Daddying a little (there's some ABDL), and proves to be every bit the loving, patient, praising, cuddling, and caretaking Daddy that Jayden needs. They slip into their Daddy/little relationship easily and there are no real bumps in their HEA journey, with the biggest angst coming from Jayden's backstory and building up his diminished sense of self-worth.
Ben being an amputee, having lost part of an arm while serving, is an aspect of the character but never made a focal point in the story, and I think it's portrayed with great respect and sensitivity. Fingers crossed that Ben's old army buddy Jude get his own HEA story too. I received free review copies of this e-book (also read in KU) and audio book and have left this honest review voluntarily.

One of the best daddy books out there
This book has all the feels and then some. I read and listen to a lot of daddy books but this one is impossibly sweet. I am not a huge fan of Piers but he does a great job with the big emotions. I adore this book by Colette so much.

Super sweet and Very Hot!!
This was my first audio book and it was such a fun experience having the story told to me. Wow! Piers Ryman's narration was amazing! I could see the story coming to life in my head. Especially the intimate scenes, OMG so hot!! You can real feel the moments, the sounds he makes, swoon worthy(fans self). The raw emotion, brought tears to my eyes towards the end, I just loved it, listened to it straight through.
Jayden hasn't met the right Daddy yet and Ben hasn't dated in years. Having been injured while in the service Ben just enjoys scenes at BDSM clubs, but doesn't let anyone into his heart. Both are just what the other needs and when they both take a chance on the Cuffed app they find just what they both been looking for, needed, and deserved. You get to see them start to build trust and a solid foundation of a beautiful and sweet Daddy/boy, age gap, age play loving relationship. So heart warming, "so sensual it made my heart ache". Story was really well written, super sweet and very hot, thoroughly enjoyed!

Adorable littles and lots of fun loving feels
I must admit I really loved this book and got the audio book straight away, its so very sweet and full of fun loving feels.
The narrator Piers Ryman has got all the accents down to a T, and the way he nuances the littles voices is excellent, he adds an extra layer and makes a wonderful and warm story more epic.
His Boy To Cherish can be listened to as stand alone, but we've met a few of the characters before in Greeking Out from season 1 of the Naughty or Nice series, featuring the Cuff'd App. This time it's the Daddies turn to write santa letters looking for their boys. Both Jayden and Ben grow as a couple and as their personalities Jayden being more secure as a little and Ben going from being a dom to a Daddy.

Great characters and Performance
Ahh, Ben and Jayden. Their histories are full of pain and both need some serious comfort and love, but their story together just made me feel warm all over. They are so sweet together and they find exactly what they need after they open up and share their true selves. I thought it was also interesting that Ben gives the author a chance to explore the difference between being a Dom and being a Daddy. This leaves me with wonderful expectations for more in this series. Piers Ryman does a perfect job with these characters. You feel their pain and hesitation to trust and be open at the beginning, but then you can hear the wonder and joy start to seep in as they open up to each other.

Beautiful relationship with wonderful narration
This is my second book in this second series and I am loving it. Ben is new to the idea of being a Daddy and Jayden's really to his letter on Cuff'd sparks an interest that just increases tenfold. Both men are deserving of the love and attention that they can give each other, in their own ways, and they showcase perfectly how well suited they are together.
I adore the happiness that they each get from their role and though there are moments in the book that really pull on your heart, Ben innately knows how to take care of the situation and Jayden.
Colette is a wonderful writer and always hits the mark with her Daddy/Boy romances, last year's addition to the Naughty or Nice series.(Dear Daddy, Please Hold Us) being my favourite. Definite a recommended read that is low on the angst in the romance but has a little when it comes to family and Jayden's history.
Piers's narration really brings this story to life. As much as I enjoyed reading it, The emotions really shine through in the narration. I especially loved laughing along when Jayden meets Ben's mum for the first time but then coming to tears during an intensely emotional scene with Jayden and Ben.

A great follow-on from Geeking out
We meet Jayden, a side character in Geeking Out with daddy Lance. All he needed was to be loved.
Daddy Ben, a disabled army veteran, needs a boy to love on, and Jayden is that boy. Such a great story.
I love daddy boy books, and this one is no exception, a great story, well told and has good character backstories, as we expect from Colette.
All in all, a wonderful Christmas read, and then relistened to in April.
Narrated by one of my favourite narrators Piers Ryman, although like usual, I did speed up audible to 1.25. Piers brought this book to life, and I enjoyed it even more than when I read it.

Can two very different men turn an intense holiday romance into lasting love?Jude: I shoot my mouth off and hide behind my smile as I try—and fail—to fill the void inside. Nothing has felt right since I was medically discharged from the army. Can there be more to life than a dead-end job and meaningless hook-ups? Kasper: I didn’t expect to win a Cuffd Destinations holiday, let alone meet a sexy guy who’s fun to be around. Jude doesn’t think he’s a Daddy, but I’m going to prove him wrong. Who knows what we might discover along the way?

Two things are stopping it from being more: I’m an adult film star, and there’s also an ocean between us.
