Story was good, narration could be better

If you can get over the fact the narrator sounds like Joe from family guy, you might enjoy it more than I did.

Nice start

Love Ron’s gruff voice, gives the MC nice grit to him. It does have a little slow start but it’s well worth it once it’s ramps up.the plot is easy to follow and enjoyable to listen to.

Mad Max and Fallout WuXia

Terrific performance from the Narrators, my only issue at times Ron's pronunciation of "she" sounds like "he". And sometimes he mixes "his and her". But other that that it sounds like an old school radio drama. looking forward to the next book.

Really freaking good. I passed this over so many times on KU, it just didn’t strike my fancy. Totally kicking myself now. Really great storyline, very interesting concept. The narrators are top notch.

a wild ride

a great post apocalyptic tale where the MC wakes up after a long nap of 50 years and tries to make it in the new world with his feet held to the fire from the start. a great survival story with harem elements.

Another great book from Jack Bryce!

Jack Bryce brings us another great book with Highway Hero. As you would expect from Jack by now: the series is action packed, well developed, has strong women, and the story is a lot of fun overall. I look forward to Jack's next book! Audio Version: This is my first time listening to Melisandre Verte and Ron d'Vous. They worked well together, their respective characters sounded great, and the overall narration is good.

Great start

Great start for this apocalyptic end of the world story. I really enjoyed this book because its different in the fact that it still takes place on earth. The main character isn't isekai'd off to another world. The elements to cultivation along with the building story made me fly through this book. I would easily recommend this story for fans of the genre.
