Publisher's Summary

Book Three of the Sinclair Brothers Trilogy.

He is forced to marry...

Daniel Sinclair is charged by Robert the Bruce to secure the King's ancestral holding in the Lowlands - and marry the daughter of the castle's keeper to secure a shaky alliance. But the lass's spirit matches her fiery hair, and Daniel quickly realizes that the King's "reward" is more than he bargained for.

She won't submit without a fight...

To protect her secret - and illegal - love of falconry, Rona Kennedy must keep her new husband at arm's length, no matter how much his commanding presence and sinfully handsome face make her knees tremble. But when an all-out war with Raef Warren, the Sinclair clan's greatest enemy, finally erupts, will their growing love be destroyed forever?

Great Highland Romance

Emma Prince is an excellent Highland romance novelist. This 3rd book in the series is the best so far due to its authentic historical events. I believe that makes a book so much more interesting. Though I’m not a history buff exactly I do enjoy learning. I would be hard pressed to pick the best of the 3 in this series! The narrator, Mr. Tim Campbell, is new to me but he is my new favorite narrator. I can’t wait for number 4 in this series, assuming there is one!

a great book

I enjoyed the plot and the characters were remembered from the previous 2 books, so the story ran smoothly and I remembered who they were.

the narrator did a great job. He has a great tone of voice and the transition of characters was believable.

A fitting end to a wonderful series

Wow, this final book in the Sinclair Brothers trilogy may be my favorite. I have loved the first 2 books and the short story as well but, this one with the confrontation with the main enemy of the series and the chemistry between Daniel and Rona is just too Juicy. The battles, the love, the whole family being involved... I can't say enough. Tim Campbell knocks it out of the park wuth his narrative and Emma Prince is just perfect. This is worth a credit , and worth staying up late to finish as I just did!! I will be reading this again and again

Brilliant trilogy

Very very good series. Loved every second of it for the second time. Just couldn't stop listening. Finished the 3 books in 3 days. And I listened to Burke"s and Meredith's story although it was short. But I love Burke so I used a credit for it although it was short. . I really wish they would make it into a TV series. Tim Campbell is the best narrator I've listened to. And I've listened to a lot of narrators. He is my favourite. He makes the story even better as he changes his voice for each character. Love his voice for the Highlander warriors. I also like the authors note at the end. Telling us which parts of the history are true and which are based on the history. Will definitely listen to more of Emma Prince"s books. Now on to The bodyguard series, which is a sort of continuation of this Trilogy, but it's 8 years later.

Excellent, Magnificent!

As usual, Emma Prince writes such riveting historical novels and each one written about Scotland and the Highlanders especially is so life-like, that one cannot get very engrossed as the narrated by Tim Campbell. He is my favourite narrator and with these lockdown because of COV-19, one can listen to these great books and relax more. Jennefer Booth
