Great book!

Really enjoyed the storyline - and excellent narration. Antony Ferguson is such a classic narrator and perfect for this genre in my opinion!

Great Book

this book.was really good, I really enjoyed it. I would recommend it to others. the performance was great also

“SPIT FIRE NOT SO MUCH”

I have to say I was disappointed with the main lead heroine. The title says and characters call spit fire and I have read many many highlander stories she is the LEAST spitfire.
She gets mad and angry easily but doesn’t act to defend herself when other watch her naked and are not ashamed to do so or when she gets slapped! Worse than that the main hero does nothing! Wth 😡
I actually enjoyed Helen’s temper and ability to stand for no shi* I am glad I listened to it because now I know there is a book about Helen and Marcus. She also kept saying I’ll deal with it my own way but never really does on action, all talk no real change

As a female I felt like I wouldn’t have stood by while others shamed me and treated me less than human!

Good points of this book was how they both sacrificed themselves to save their families. Also how the heroine tried to take the high road that kinda lead her to being a push over.

Adventure From Beginning To End

I usually don't write reviews but feel I must let Mary Wine know that her book was fabulous from beginning to end. I didn't want to stop listening to it!! Bravo!!!

OMG 🤦🏾‍♀️

Bhaic MacPherson & Ailis Robertson: triggers- assault & sexual assault. I really wanted to love this particular book but it just rated on my nerves. Two clans are rivals but somehow the fathers of both got into trouble and in order to ally both clans they forced Bhaic and Ailis to marry. So despite being married there's constant bickering about being a MacPherson and/or a Robertson. This continues for majority of the book. Then we have a couple of other men either trying to get them out of the marriage or trying to court Ailis.... But she's already freaking married, why are they men literally still trying to get her to marry them. 🤦🏾‍♀️. OMG this story was so over the place. And then the reason for the climax of the story, what caused it... So dumb. If you weed all of that out, there's a really good love story but man all that other mess... Too much.
