Loved it !! this story. the narrator is so fantastic it's like your really there!! After listening to this story,. I totally enjoyed reading this book. It’s well written and the characters were uniquely fantastic. I would suggest this book to my friends that like this sort of genera. this was a good book. The narrator was great.

Absolutely Loved It.

On an audio book as many of us know that the narrator can make or break a novel. Tim Campbell is truly one of the best. Actually I think he has the best Highlander voice. His accent is well…..sensual, which makes him perfect for romance novels. Julie Johnstone writes knowing what a reader wants and she never gets so wordy that loses my attention which so many novels I have listened to that a writer takes a 5 hour story into a 10 hour narrative then I have to force myself to listen to all the repetitive dribble that bores me to death but I need to get to the ending. Ugh!
Have you ever read to an ending and it’s makes you say nooooo I want more. This was that such book. I loved the characters, oh my Angus, are there any real men like him. Hmmm maybe if I’m lucky I’ll meet one in heaven. All the characters were perfect as was this story.
Now, what is most important to me in a novel, and I have said this a thousand times before is continuity. This story flowed with excellence. Loved it.

Angus and Julianna

Really cute story of how a stubborn man and a hardheaded woman learn to deal with their pride, the effect of words on a relationship, trust, and true loyalty and love. Excellent read and great book 2 in the series. Complex characters and unpredictable plot. Love it, as always with Julie's books! Tim Campbell did a magnificent job (5 Stars) as narrator. I love listening to his amazing ability to breath life into my mental pictures of the characters!

Good read

This was an exciting, action packed story. There was plenty of intrigue, betrayal, romance, and a hint of magic. I love Tim Campbell’s portrayal of each character. I could listen to him all day!

Better than first book

I enjoyed book two more than book one. I believe it’s because in this book the focus was more on the love story vs. the political intrigue of the times. With that said, I recommend both. On to book 3 in the series.

True Love

I absolutely loved this book! Angus’s devotion to Lillianna was so strong love had to grow. I also really enjoyed the touch of magic or fantasy with her seer powers. I couldn’t put the book down I had to find out what happened. Julie Johnstone is excellent at at bringing her characters to life and pulling you into the story.
