Publisher's summary

In my head, I see him. My very straight best friend. The one I will never have.

Teddy

I’ve never felt like I fit in, but that changed the day I met him. Liam West. He was larger than life, even back when we were kids. He protected me from every awful thing life threw at me, but somewhere along the way my fascination with him turned into something more. Something filled with pain. I’ve tried to put distance between us, but it never works.

Liam will never let me get too far from him. All I can do is stay high enough to forget the hopelessness of it all.

Liam

Getting my life together hasn’t been easy. I work hard and take care of the people I care about, but the one person who matters the most is pulling away from me. My longest and only best friend. He’s becoming more and more self-destructive, and he expects me to turn the other cheek. Not happening.

Teddy has always needed me, and I’m starting to realize I might need him just as much, if not more.

High and Hopeless is book two in the Worthless Boys trilogy, a NA friends-to-lovers MM romance. It can be enjoyed as a standalone.

Loved every second

Just wished it was longer :,( these boys stole my heart from book one, the whole gang is a compelling mishmash of misfits who carry each other through the hardships of life. Love all the partying and the balance of angst and love. Can’t wait for book 3 to come.

Teddy and Liam

I loved Teddy and Liam’s story. Teddy is one of my fav characters from this series and the bond that he has with Liam is a great best friends to lovers vibe.

Filled With Heart, Heat and yes Hope!

Liam and Teddy were love. I just adored these two: their connection, the chemistry, how authentic they seemed. There was so much sweetness and also passion between Liam and Teddy. It was also an interesting way to display the less affluent side of life, and really showing that the depth of that and the people who grow up in lower class areas. I loved the added bonus of the friendships in the story as well. The narration was amazing too, Copper North and Winston James both did fantastic jobs. They really bought you into the story and inside Liam and Teddy’s world. My only complaint on this book is that it was too short. It was very well written and I couldn’t stop listening to it. It was just absolute perfection from beginning to end. I hope to read more from this author and listen to more from these narrators in particular.
