Wished details said it was an inter-racial romance

I don’t care for inter-racial books, however, I decided to tune that out & concentrate on the storyline, and it turned out to be a pretty good story. It’s very dark & dirty, but had some steamy sex & interesting secondary characters.

Dodge learns what it means to give his heart

Dodge gets moved to the Caroline Springs branch as Pres, with Dive & Vicious; he’s joined by Billy and Pick as the top officers. They work to uncover a traitor; to find out who has an agenda against the Hawks; to identify the real enemy. Willow is betrayed again by a family member, and stumbles into the Hawks compound when she escapes. Dodge meets his match in Willow and learns to eat his words about being p-whipped.
Evans & Casteri are the voices of the series. It really adds to the audio to have both as narrators.

great story bad narrator

this series is really good and I love all the books I just wish we had better narrator's. the woman narrator is really slow in her speaking and she pauses when she really shouldn't. wish they could redo all these books with better voices.

Good book 2 in series

This second audiobook in the series was really good to listen to. The characters carry over from previous books, except the heroine is a new introduction. She has a tragic past as far as family, her addict parents are dead and the only relative left is a cousin who she’s staying with. She comes home to find out he has sold her to a really bad guy to pay for his gambling debts, so she squeezes out a window and runs. When she finally stops from exhaustion and injury she is in the club’s garage. She’s found by Dodge, who is commitment phobic. The president of the club says she’s now his responsibility to protect. The story has a lot of twists and drama, sexual tension and some violence. I’m starting to get used to the Aussie narrators, lol.

Dodge and Willow

Who wouldn't want to be rescued by Dodge? He's protective, caring, sweet but absolutely Alpha. Willow is sweet, kind and running for her life but in steps Dodge and takes care of everything. I loved this thrilling ride. Lila Rose never disappointed. Great addition to the Hawks MC.
Narration was great!

Worst Female Narration

I love the story but the narration for the female was annoying. I had to speed up the words to get through the story, she read way too slow and flat for me.

Family is the first thing that comes to mind

This re-readable beauty is full of family and real family means love. Love not blood. The narrators did a fine job.

What a lovely treat...

I've read the books manay times, so the audible is wonderful addition.

Low is running from her cousin who is trying to sell her to a MC for his gamble debts. When she runs to the hot biker she recently met, who knew that he would be her savior. Dodge is the new Pres of the Carolina Springs charter and he has some cleaning to do, in-house. He has some bad apples to get rid of and the last thing he needed was a woman underfoot..and definietly not a couple of kids. But when all of them rely on him to keep them safe, Dodge is willing and able to fulfill his promise.

I loved the introduction of an African American character. Every now and then an author will include another race and I find that to be a real treat. Low fits into the biker lifestyle almost immediately. She brings her hilarious friend along and together with the pu%&$ posse, the laughs rain down. He attraction to Didge is immediate and even though he tries to refuse it, he can't hold out for long.

Dodge gets hit with a lot of change all at the same time..he stumbles a bit and then he takes to it like it was meant to be. Trey and the gang from Ballarat make an appearance and as usual, someone from the past has decided to seek revenge. All in all, this was a well rounded story.

Wonderful

So far each book read is truly incredible. I love the narrators - their accents really captured and brings out the characters and the story background. I mostly enjoy the underlining message provided. Maybe because some are so close to home.
