Nora Roberts never disappoints, good story line, very descriptive scenery, well created characters and such a pleasure to read

This book grabbed my interest from the first sentence. Love the character interactions. Storyline and the bit of humor. I have a hard time waiting for Ms. Roberts next novels.

I loved ALL of it! Have listened to it twice now and will probably listen again while waiting for the next In Death book.

Too long

Good book but it could’ve been done in half the pages. Great narrator but way too much time building the story and unnecessary detail.

Nora always has a good twist. the story had a good flow and gave great descriptions. January always delivers a great production.

Family ties

I loved all of it! The relationship between the different family members. The love ties. And what I love most in a novel, the details of the daily routine, what they felt, what they eat, how they dressed. And of course the wonderful nature surrounding the their lives.

It’s 2025 - this story is dated

Love Nora Roberts, but I had to keep checking the publishing date.
When you have crimes in 2025, there are cameras everywhere. Even in small towns. No cameras checked. For a string of crimes. Other dumb details, like keys in the ignition.
I wouldn’t mind if this was one of her early works that I bought for $5.99. But for a new release, this is an outdated story.
